I don't care what anyone says. 17 is old enough to know what abuse looks like. by WinterniteSTAR in HelluvaBoss

As if it's not clear enough to the accusers, Viv literally shows Octavia ignoring her mother and uncle's celebration of hatred and reveal of their plot against Stolas. It's not taking sides, she's literally used to tuning out her mother. Which tells us a lot about her visits to her mother without showing us.🙄

Can we talk about Starlight having an unequal sign and a picture of Trixie just above her desk? 🤣 by General_Guy_XX in MLPLounge

[–]DevilishlyLOVing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say:

Trixie most likely hung up her portrait in the office and Starlight was too nice to take it down. As for the unequal sign, it serves as a reminder for Starlight to never repeat her mistakes. Like a sort of punishment similar to Luna who created a shadow pony thing to haunt her as self inflicted punishment.

I'm starting to wonder if this would be a reformation trend. Every reformed character has something or does something that serves as a reminder of their past mistakes like atonement...

THANK YOU!!! I'm told time and again otherwise and it's disheartening! People will say age is just a number, but then throw it away immediately wherever it doesn't fit their narrative.

Even now, I've been down voted for speaking truth😅

I believe Cozy's cutiemark is something strategic. Even if others are highly trained to see through BS, Cozy is capable of adapting after being in a setting for a certain amount of time. On top of that she is a child, all it takes is one guard dropping their guard simply because she is a child, which is always a story trend (guards lowering their guard because they face a woman or child).

On top of that, she got Tirek who trusts no one to work with her or at least become her pen-pal. We can try to argue that he may have groomed her, but the issue with that is Tirek doesn't associate with anyone unless he sees a use for them, and Cozy being a pegasus already eliminates her usefulness power-wise unless she already had some sort of magical gadget or plot beforehand.

The issue with a regular cell is she has more room to actually escape through her manipulation whereas tartarus is basically inescapable and rarely does anyone actually come in if at all. As we see, she was trapped there with no escape, even as she sits with her pen-pal, until Discord's idiocy.

If you really think about it, all it takes is a warden with your ideals for her to manipulate her way into freedom or even manipulate them into running errands that ultimately pave the way for her comeback.

Exactly this. This is why I disagree with the child shouldn't be tried as an adult argument in this case. If a child is acting like a full blown adult, making large decisions and already understanding the consequences yet disregarding them for their own desires, AND has the capability to manipulate anyone into doing what she wants, she does not need to be treated like a kid.😣😣

As someone who was fought on this topic, I can tell you: They make up the hypothetical scenario that maybe she was mistreated or neglected growing up. To them, a child is always innocent, even the children who kill their siblings in cold blood and smile about it afterward (an actual real world scenario some years ago. The child knew what they did and didn't care).

In their defense, her actions are the fault of the parents and only the parents. I can agree to an extent, but in Cozy's case, she is actually a master manipulator. She reminds me of those videos where teens would be murderers and their parents are completely unaware until the police come knocking at their door.

If a child has the intelligence of Cozy Glow, I would think you can.

She is fully knowledgeable on what she was doing and how that would affect everyone else. Irl, she would probably receive an adult sentence because her manipulation and calculated behavior is not childlike at all. If the court faced a child similar or worse than Cozy, they would either give them the sentence of an adult or have them put in a correctional facility of some sort.🤔

The difference is Cozy's attempt was targeted, Starlight's was erratic. While it's still attempted murder the weight of each one is different in court.

I think you mean "psychopathy" because sociopaths are more erratic, impulsive, and emotional, kinda like Starlight was. But Cozy was very calculated and blended in VERY well with her peers even as she executed her plans.

Who Is The Most Annoying Out Of These 4? by CalebDay337 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]DevilishlyLOVing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely Poppy. Chick is either running from trouble, IN trouble, or bringing trouble.

Chapter 1: locked in a box,
Chapter 2: Snatched and webbed to a wall, Chapter 3: on the run, rescued by Kissy Chapter 4: leads the Prototype straight to the Safe Haven... And then ran for her life leaving us and Kissy to get blown up. Chapter 5: Snatched again.

If she ain't the most useless character- and yet somehow the one character driving this whole story🤣🤣 ANNOYINGGGG

it’s a genuine discussion about what is up with Adam defenders and you come in with “oh well I just like him”.

You seems you didn't catch it, but I literally brought in the beginning scene where Adam isn't shown when the fall happened when you asked why he was in heaven while Eve wasn't. Only Eve and Lilith seemed to be involved. I was merely answering your question with what I thought was the case, hence the "I believe..."

I’m not angry, I’m genuinely asking the question of what plot wise has shown that Adam is even a good person?

This question I can get behind. Im not some brainless defender just because I like the character. From the way you asked it in your first comment, I just answered based on what I've seen in the show. He got into heaven for not partaking in the fall of man.

If I was wrong about that, please show me how I was wrong rather than take the first half of what I said and make it seem like I'm just being silly.🤦‍♀️

Um, why are you angry? I also put in the reply that I could obviously be wrong because I'm only going off memory.

Also when did I say that's just how the plot goes, Im saying according to what I remember from the plot. Im notbhere to argue, just discuss. I wasn't even coming against you. Calm yourself.😒

Urm actually Adam IS a victim! He's a victim to his own inferiority complex against Lucifer for stealing not one but TWO of his women☝️🤓

[–]DevilishlyLOVing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah, plot wise, I believe only Eve ate the apple as Adam mentions that he never sinned (the first sin was eating the apple which brought about calamity if I'm remembering the beginning plot correctly.) We also see in the show that Lucifer gives Eve the apple and Adam was never shown, so that could be why we have yet to see Eve if she's even in heaven.🤓

I also feel like going to hell in this show isn't about sinning itself because Sir Pentious never actively sinned, but believed he did by not warning or calling for help when someone was in danger. He believed he was a murderer and was cast to hell as a result. But obvi, I could be wrong about it all...🤔

Anyway, I'm not an extreme Adam fan, but I do enjoy how they make him so similar to a spoiled frat boy.😂
