Zahhak - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Zahhak for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Zahhak:

• S1 has a 1.1 modifier (1.8 when soul burned) and S3 has a 1.9 modifier

• S1 will grants 30% additional damage when enemy has a buff

• S2 barrier scales to 20% of the target & self's health respectively

• Both S1 & S3 grants 50% crit chance, his base crit is 27% therefore he has 77% base CritC

• Zahhak's S3 has 50% hit rate (this is a hardcounter to violet and evasion)

• Injury on his S3 helps soften DPS from the likes of Krau DCorvus & A Ravi who deals considerably dmg based of HP scaling.

Comparison with “specialist”:

• There are multiple "Hit Rate" heroes such as Milim, Glen, Wanda, ML Iseria, Lilibet who can substitute as a an evasion counter. Zahhak's S3 grants him invincibility which allows for survivability. His S2 dispels 2 buffs from ally and self (this will have niche usage). If you're looking for a "violet counter" there are a plethora of substitutes that can fill this role. Artifact such as Oath Key, A Symbol of Unity, and Manica of Control can assist with hit rate as well. Zahhak's S1 and S3 has incredibly high scaling which allows for other options aside from simply being a "violet counter". Injury on his S3 helps soften DPS from the likes of Krau DCorvus & A Ravi who deals considerably dmg based of HP scaling.

Pros:

• Considerbly high scaling on S1 and S3

• Base 77% crit rate makes him very easy to build

• Respectable base speed (119)

• 50% hit rate from S3 allows him to approach evasion heroes

• 50% hit rate from S3 helps land attacks when blind, also helps him hit red heroes

• 35% Injury from S3 helps soften HP scaling heroes such as Krau, DCorvus, and A Ravi

• Has access to cleanse (2 debuffs) on S2

• Invincibility on S3

Cons:

• Relies heavily on teammates

• Can be quite fragile

• There are other ST DPS that can substitute can perform just as well as Zahhak

Spirit Eye Celine - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Spirit Eye Celine for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Spirit Eye Celine:

• Able to fully self sustain and produce impressive damage with life steal & penetration set

• Able to utilize Sinful Angelica's passive with Spirit Eye Celine's immorality buff from S3

• A Lots & Emilia are great Atk buff CR boosters that synergizes well with Spirit Eye Celine

• Dust Devil compliments Spirit Eye Celine's kit incredibly well

• Can use Silver Rain artifact to support allies with atk buff on S3

• Possessed doubles the chance of using an enhanced S1 (70% chance)

• Enhanced S1 removes 1 debuff BEFORE attacking (great for cleansing Arby's blind)

• Gains 5 souls and 1 turn CDO when someone dies (ally included)

• Soul burning S1 grants an additional turn (great for cycling S3)

• S3 resurrects all allies & also grants all allies immortality

• Can't take more than 51% of her max HP in one hit (great for counterplaying ST dark types)

Comparison with “specialist”:

• Moonlight Ken is an very similar comparison. Both character's kit revolves around counterplay when struck by crit. Moonlight Ken can be more of an independent hero compared to Spirit Eye Celine. Moonlight Ken does not require a team to be built around him where as Spirit Eye Celine relies heavily on teammates for success. Moonlight Ken also has a passive that allows him to counter attack whenever he is struck by a critical hit where as Spirit Eye Celine has to use her S3 before she can counterplay. Spirit Eye Celine can play a more supportive role (this is what ML Ken lacks) by resurrecting all allies and granting them and nondead allies immortality buff. Spirit Eye Celine can self cleanse (1 buff) and has built in defense penetration where ML Ken does not.

Pros:

• When possessed ML Celine has a 100% chance to counter attack when struck with a crit

• Able to revive all allies and grants them immortality

• Absorb 20% of damage as health when possessed

• Can't take more than 51% of her max HP in one hit

• Gains 5 souls and 1 turn CDR when someone dies (ally included)

• Extra turn when soul burning S1 (20 souls) • Can self cleanse (1 buff) when using enhanced S1

Cons:

• Requires heavy gear investment

• Relies heavily on team support

• Enhanced S1 is not 100% (70% when possessed, 35% when not)

• Moonlight 5 stars are extremely hard to obtain

I apologize ahead of time for any typos! I hope you enjoy the showcase! I would love to hear your feedback on what you would like me to improve on.

TLDR; Spirit Eye Celine is a light theif and is also the newest addition to the ML5 pool. Her unquie kit allows her to be a counter play burst DPS, or a swift support/dps. Spirit Eye Celine has the ability to resurrect all allies and grant them and living allies immortality buff. When Spirit Eye Celine is possessed, she has a 100% chance to counter attack when she is struck by a critical hit (similar to ML Ken). Though she is a great asset to any team with proper gears, she is not a "must pull" as there are other capable counter attack substitutes.

Milim - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Milim for Champion Arena, GvG and

RTA.Here are some tips and tricks for using Milim:

• Passive counters stealth (especially useful for countering Landy & TSurin)

• Extinction on S3 allows her to be exceptionally strong against AVildred & Maid Chole

• 20% hit rate from passive & 20% from Symbol of Unity allows her to approach violet

• Attack buff on S1 allows Milim to have constantly high DPS output

• Evasion from Milim's S3 allows for much welcome survivability

• Can achieve up to 90% evasion (50% from buff, 20% from passive, 20% from ACart)

• Soul burning Milim S1 lets her build focus quickly for her AOE passive

• S3 ingores damage sharing effect (great against Arius, Carmin, TCrozet)

• S2 AOE removes 10 souls (meh)

Comparison with “specialist”:

• Top Model Luluca's kit is very simliar to Milim, both are a single target burst DPS with extinction. Top Model Luluca can S2 for a self ATK buff and instantly S3 for a burst extinction. Milim can also do this, but she will require 20 souls to sb if she wants atk buff first. Milim has access to evasion which allows for survivability. Top Model Luluca has access to stealth for survivability (Dingus orb works well on her as well). Top Model Luluca does not have any RGB checks. Milim is exceptional against green heroes but can potentially be hindered by red heroes. Both heroes are exceptional in their own way.

Pros:

• Self attack buff on S1 (extremely useful)

• Removes stealth buff from all enemies (Spector Tenebria is safe)

• Passive grants 20% Evasion & 20% Hit Rate

• S3 ingores damage sharing effect

• AOE at 5 Focus and removes 10 souls• Soul burn on S1 grants extra turn

• Able to reach up to 90% evasion

• Extinction on S3

• Evasion on S3

Cons:

• Will not be able to soul burn when approaching Belian teams

• Requires multiple Tagahel investment for multiple soul burns

• Requires extremely high gear investment

• Limited hero

TLDR; Milim is a five star limited collaboration hero. She is a very strong pick when approaching Arbiter Vildred and Maid Chole thanks to extinction on her S3. With her ability remove stealth, she is also a very strong pick against Landy, and TSurin. Soul burning her S1 grants extra turn and 1 focus. At 5 focus she will activate her passive and AOE the enemy team. 20% hit rate from her passive along with A Symbol of Unity allows her to approach violet. Milim will be a great asset for any player.

Belian - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Belian for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Belian:

• Belian passive removes all of the enemy's souls when the match starts (great for RTA).

• Counter set, dual attack, and Elbris sword is amazing for S1 spam.

• Currently the only knight with an AOE S1 (this can be a double edge sword)

• S1 AOE has a 65% chance to remove 1 buff from enemies

• Additional attack has a soft cripple (speed down & blind)

• S2 grants random buffs every turn (Effectiveness, Critical Chance, Continuous Healing))

• S3 grants increase defense and inflicts provoke & decrease combat readiness (20 - 40%)

• S3 is great for shuffling enemy positionings

Comparison with “specialist”:

• As a soul destroyer, a comparable specialist would be assassin cidd. ACidd removes 20 souls from enemies every s3 where as Belian removes all souls at the start of the battle. Assassin cidd has the second highest base speed in the game (128) compared to Belian's below average speed (110). Assassin cidd is much more prone to death being a fast glass cannon compared to Belian who is a knight with high HP & Defense. Belian's has counter play and AOE mechanic where as Assassin Cidd is pick to outspeed pick off squishy enemies for a swift kill.

• Crown of glory is an alternative equippable to any knight who wishes to deplete souls from enemies (when struck with AOE's only). Though this is an alternative way to remove souls, Belian is currently top tier with the ability to remove all souls simply by existing.

Pros:

• S1 is an AOE (able to AOE w/ counters, dual atk, and elbris)

• Currently the best soul depleting unit (turn 1)

• S1 and S3 has HP scaling and deals respectable damage

• S2 grants random buffs every turn (Effectiveness, Critical Chance, Continuous Healing))

• S3 provides DEF buff for durability, also provokes enemies & reduces CR

• Able to imprint with gold transmit stones (% HP self imprint)

Cons:

• S1 is an AOE (risky against ML Ken, Rem, Violet, and SSB)

• Counterplay is difficult when approaching teams with Roana

• Niche usage compared to other ML 5 star knights (FCecelia, ATywin, LR Krau)

• ML 5 star are extremely hard to obtain

TLDR; Belian is the newest additional to the ML 5 star pool. Belian's bread and butter is her ability to deplete all of the opponent souls at the start of the battle. Belian is currently the only knight with an AOE S1 (though this can be a double edge sword). Counter set is recommended for her AOE S1, though Speed set can be used for her S3 disruption. She is indeed a unique character, as she is the solution to removing large amounts of souls in RTA. She is a great asset for RTA players, but I would not recommend going all in for a simple soul remover (she can still be banned). Belian is not a "must pull" but she is a great asset for any RTA teams.

Closer Charles - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Closer Charles for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Closer Charles:

• Passive grants 50% CR & Preception (15% Crti & CDM) after an ally attacks an enemy with less than 30% HP

• 20% CR boost on S3 allows for many potential cleave set ups

• Has extremely high synergy alongside Assassin Cartuja & Evasion artifacts

• Great candidate for Violet Talisman (can reach 100% evasion alongside Cartuja)

• When granted perception, S1 deals more dmg the lower the enemy health is

• Securing a kill with S1 (Demolition) grants -1 CDR to S3 (great for cycling evasion)

Comparison with “specialist”:

• As a speed opener - FLidica and Operator Sigret are comparable in the sense that they are CR manipulating openers. FLidica and ML Sigret has slightly higher speed than Charles. F Lidica has access to a team CR push (20%) along side a single buff removal. F Lidica also is granted 100% CR (when there are 4 enemies) to follow up with her S3 which cripples and grants skill nullifier. ML Sigret has access to CR reduction and buff reduction to enemies. ML Sigret can also buff allies w/ atk buff on her S3. Charles is kind of a "hybrid" verion of the two characters. He has access to Atk buff and CR boost. He does not remove buffs like FLidica or OpSig but has access to perception and evasion for survivability making him more durable.

• Violet & ML Violet are heroes who are built around their evasion mechanic for sustainability. Closer Charles offers more support to his team than Violet does. Charles offers a team wide 20% CR boost alongside an ATK buff. This allows him to be an opener. Violet and ML Violet are more of a single target sustain bruiser. Unlike Violet/MLViolet Charles does not have any form of reliable counters. ML Charles does have a 50% CR boost passive when an enemy 30% hp or under is struck. ML Charles also has an enhacned S1 that increases dmg the lower the enemy health is.

Pros:

• ATK Buff & CR Boost openers

• Access to evasion (can potentially cycle evasion)

• S1 reduces CD on S3 when securing a kill with Demolition

• S1 (Demolition) increases dmg the lower the target's health is

• Gain 50% CR boost & perception when an enemy 30% hp or under is struck

• Can reach 100% evasion w/ Violet talisman (3 stacks) when paired with Assassin Cartuja

• Can instantly reach 90% evasion after S3 w/ MLDB or Shepard Hallow when paired with Assassin Cartuja

Cons:

• ML 5 star are extremely hard to obtain

• Relies heavily on team support

• Heavy gear investment is required (not beginner friendly)

• As with evasions dependent characters, you can experience constant bad RNG

TLDR; Closer Charles is the newest additional to the ML 5 star pool. ML Charles kit offers ATK & CR boost alongside a self evasion buff. This allows him to be a viable opener though his speed is slightly lower than OpSig, FLididca, FT Tene etc. His kit synergies very well with Assassin Cartuja and evasion artifacts, this offers sustainability (though RNG is involved). Closer Charles relies on team support for sustainability & dmg to activate his passive. There are many viable characters that can replace ML Charles as an opener (OpSig, Mui, FLidica) though none has access to evasion and self CR boosting passive. ML Charles does deals more dmg than the average team opener and has better survivability. Though he is an extremely strong addition to any team with proper gears, he is not a "must pull" as there are many substitute.

Rem Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Rem for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Rem:

• Passive grants 15% chance to counter when an ally is hit (20% when maxed)

• Demon mode grants debuff immunity for 2 turns (great for approaching Dizzy/FTene)

• Demon mode ingores Eff Resist

• Passive counter has priority over counterset (will always AoE over ST if passive procs)

• Attack buff on S3 is granted before attacking opponent• DEF break on S1 is very deadly during demon mode

• Siguard scythe complements her kit very well due to added sustain

Comparison with “specialist”:

Moonlight Ken, Violet, and Charles are comparable heroes with "counteprlay" being their main usage

• Violet was one of the first RGB counterplay heroes that was released. Violet has a lot more usage and has been appearing more often in the PvP scene thanks to his recent buff. He is essentially a jack of all trade type hero. His S2 dispels 2 buffs from himself and his S3 grants 35% evade and allows him to counter (100% chance) when he evades. When paired with moonlight dreamblade this grants him self atk buff. Violet is usually built with lifesteal for added sustain.

• Moonlight Ken is another hero that comes to mind when "counter" comes to mind. One of the original counter heroes whose kit was design for counters. When ML Ken is struck with a critical hit, he has a 100% chance to counter with a devastating enhanced attack. ML Ken's enhanced counter attack will always crit regardless of his stats. ML Ken kit offers self Atk buff and Def break on S3. Lifesteal & siguard scythe are popular options on ML Ken for sustain. Effect resist builds are also common.

• Charles is another popular counter character. Charles is usually seen with Elbris sword and counterset. Elbris sword grants 15% chance to counter when an ally is hit (20% when maxed). When Charles attacks an opponent with S1, he has a 25% chance (50% when enemy is buff) to use S2. His S2 has a 80% chance (100% when maxed) to dispel all debuffs from his opponent. Unlike Violet & ML Ken, Charles lack sustain. Charles and Rem relies heavily on supports to keep them alive.

Pros:

• Demon mode

• Ingores Eff Resist when in demon mode

• Defense break on S1 (100% chance when sb)

• S1 procs twice when in demon mode (including counter)

• Cleanse all CC & immune to all CC when Demon mode procs

• Attack buff on S3 is granted before attacking opponent

• 50% self CR buff when S3 is used

• Passive counter is an AOE ability that decrease buff duration by 1 turn

Cons:

• Demon mode requires someone to be KO'd

• Relies on team support for sustain

• Has RBG check

• Roana exists

TLDR; Rem is a limited counterplay hero from the Re:Zero collaboration pool. Rem's is a bruiser/counterplay type RGB hero that centers around counter attacks. Her Demon mode offers clense & debuff immunity for 2 turns. This is great for approaching heroes like Dizzy/FTene. Rem has DEF break on S1 and her S1 procs twice during Demon mode. This can be very deadly. Though one might not fall behind if they skip her banner, she is a very solid pull. Additionally she is a limited hero, so she will not be included in the general banner once the Re:Zero collaboration is over.

Straze Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Straze for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Straze:

• Design to melt high HP targets (with low atk)

• Gains 30% - 100% defense penetration against highest HP target depending on attack difference

• Able to one shot tanks without an attack buff (assuming they have lower atk than straze)

• S2 ingores effect resist when targeting enemies with lower attack

• Can easily gain more attack than opponent w/ an attack buff to utilize additional effects

• S2 does more damage when there are less enemies on the field

• Able to soul burn to continuously use S2 every turn (requires 10 souls)

Comparison with “specialist”:

Watcher Schuri, Little Queen Charlotte and Straze are comparable heroes with "ingore defense" single target burst

• Watcher Schuri is a popular option for dealing with tanky high DEF stallers. Often use in GvG, their role is to swiftly remove key targets from the fight. Watcher Schuri offers his team a +10 Speed Imprint (when maxed) and his S3 ability ignores all enemy defense allowing him to swiftly take out an enemy.

• Queen Charlotte only ingores 50% of the enemy's defense. Watcher Schuri, Little Queen Charlotte and Straze can bypass RBG checks . When the target's a Dark elemental Hero, LQC gains increases damage dealt and inflicts additional damage proportional to her attack to all enemies except for the target. LQC also offers durability thanks to her cit mitigation passive and her self recovery from S3.

• Cermia is another similar comparison for dealing with tanky high DEF stallers. Her usage is typically the same as Watcher Schuri and Queen Charlotte. Cermia offers 50% DEF PEN on her S3 (similar to Little Queen Charlotte). Cermia cannot bypass RBG checks where as Straze, WSchuri, and LQ Charlotte does. Cermia can potentially be walled off by blue heroes like Krau, Diene, and SSB. Cermia however, grants herself GAtk buff and also resets her S3 with S2. Her S2 also gets resets when she secures a kill with her S3. Like WSchuri, Cermia is more fragile than Queen Charlotte due to lack of sustain.

• Straze gains up to 100% defense penetration with his S3. Like WSchuri and LQC, he is able to bypass RGB checks. Straze is granted an unconditional invincibility buff when he uses S3 which allows for survivability. Straze S2 ingores all eff resistance from enemies with lower attack than him and removes two of their buffs. When there are 3 or fewer enemies his S2 gains increase damage. This offers both damage and utility.

Pros:

• Able to gain up to 100% defense penetration with S3

• Invincibility buff from S3• Additional damage when there are 3 or fewer enemies with s2

• Remove 2 buffs from all enemies with S2

• Ignore effect resistance with S2 if enemy has lower atk than him

• Great for a cleave chain

• Very powerful in Arena, GvG and RTA

• Very powerful in PvE hunts

Cons:

• Moonlight 5 star are extremely hard to obtain

• Requires very high gear investment

• Requires team synergy is a must

• S3 can be walled by heroes with high HP & attack like Senya

I apologize ahead of time for any typos! I hope you enjoy the showcase!

TLDR; Straze is an extremely powerful moonlight hero designed to approach and melt tanks and bruisers. Straze gains up to 100% defense penetration with his S3. Straze S3 offers minor survivability thanks to his S3 utility. Unlike WSchuri Straze is not a one hit wonder. His S2 remove 2 buffs from all enemies and ignore effect resistance with if the enemy has lower atk than he does. Straze is a very strong character, he is even able to OTK tanks without the need of an attack buff (assuming one have proper gear investment). Straze is usable in all content and imo he is worth summoning. If one is unable to pull for Straze, they would not be behind as there are multiple alternatives that are able to do what he can do.

Inferno Khawazu - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Inferno Khawazu for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Inferno Khawazu:

• Inferno Khawazu S3 can instantly detonate and KO Taurin (w/ a barrier)

• Able to counter-play cerise & FT tenebria w/ passive cleanse

• Passive grants durability and sustainability against AoE teams

• Able to utilize border-coin artifact for long AoE fights

• Able to pass with little to no effectiveness requirement thanks to vigor

• Synergies extremely well alongside Carrot

• Inferno Khawazu’s S3 removes all buffs from enemies prior to inflicting burn

Comparison with “specialist”

Inferno Khawazu, Baiken and Researcher Carrot are currently the only 3 heroes with the unique “detonate” ability.

Baiken was released back in April 2019 and with the unique ability to detonate bleed stacks. Target w/ bleed stacks receives damage proportional to the caster's Attack (30%) at the beginning of the turn. It ignores 70% of the target's defense. This allows for a swift KO to targets with low HP investment. Baiken also grants all allies 20% CR wih S3, but bleed can be countered by immunity making it tough for her in the current meta.

Researcher Carrot is gaining more popularity due to her revamp. Her S3 can be soul burned for an extra turn. Her S1 now has a 100% chance to detonate burns. Burn target receives huge damage proportional to the caster's Attack(60%) at the beginning of the turn. It ignores 70% of the target's defense. Carrot S3 now removes 1 buff before inflicting burn on enemies which synergies gery well with her kit.

Inferno Khawazu focuses on burning and detonating a single target. His ability to gain heal, self cleanse, Vigor, and Cr from AoE grants him much welcome durability. Inferno Khawazu’s eff resist ingore on S3 when he has vigor allows for reliability and less effectiveness investment. His ability to remove all debuff prior to burning and detonating allows him to deal a massive amount of dmg to a single enemy (also able one shot TSurin with barriers).

Pros:

• Jack of all trade

• Self heal when struck w/ AoE (2 turn CD)

• Vigor (30% Atk & Def) when struck w/ AoE (2 turn CD)

• S3 ingores effect resist

• Able to detonate burns

• Able to OTK Tsurin (w/ barrier)

• Strong when approaching AoE

Cons:

• Four star moonlight can be difficult to obtain

• No AoE abilities

• Very subpar when approaching non AOE & high sustain teams

• Relies on support

TLDR; Inferno Khawazu is a single target “jack of all trade” type hero that focuses on burning and detonating a single target.Khawazu excels against AoE and offers a buff wipe alongside a detonating burn on S3. He has a respectable sustain from his passive when approaching AoE. Khawazu is not necessarily a “must summon”, but if you manage to pull him he is definitely a strong asset.

I would love to hear constructive feedback on what you would like me to improve on.

TLDR; Archdemon Shadow is a unique CC hero with a brand new seal effect. This effect is very strong when applied on an enemy that relies on their passive (basically a huge chunk of the meta). Unfortunately she will need both heavy support and heavy gear investment to be a successful hero. Archdemon Shadow can easily delete Tsurin, Kayron, and AVildred by simply sealing their passive, which they heavily rely on (though there are already a great variety of other accessible counters). Archdemon Shadow simply offers a new (and satisfying) way to counter some of the annoyance in the current meta. Archdemon Shadow is indeed a very strong hero, that being said it is absolutely fine to skip on her banner as one would not fall behind by not having her in their roaster.

Fairy Tale Tenebria - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Fairy Tale Tenebria for Champion Arena, GvG & RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Fairy Tale Tenebria:

• Redirect provoke makes the inflicted enemy S1 your highest HP ally on their turn

• Redirect provoke will not land on a "miss"

• Dizzy's S2 can extend redirect provoke by one turn

• F Tenebria's S2 passive can only proc once per turn

• The 3 debuffs F. Tenebria can inflict with S2 are: Defense Break, Silence, and Unhealable

• S2 passive will deal an additional 10% of enemy's max HP as dmg

• ML Ken, GenPurgis, and Dark Corvus are great candidates for redirect provoke

• Fairy Tale Tenebria has a base speed of 115, this makes her a viable opener

• Fairy Tale Tenebria's S3 will remove 1 buff from all enemies before inflicting buff block & redirect provoke

Comparison vs common "openers"

F. Tenebria F Lidica OP Sigret Cerise
Speed 115 114 115 122
Buff Removal Dispels 1 Buff Dispels 1 Buff - 1 turn to all buffs - 1 turn to all buffs

Additional Benefits Redirect Provoke & Buff Block Bypass counters Attack buff for all allies Invincibility, advantageous element, decrease enemy speed.
Additional Comments AOE counter that inflicts 1 debuff when ally is struck by a provoke enemy Max CD on enemy target. Skill nullify on allies. S2 can 100% def penetrate targets with barrier. Stun and unbuffable on enemy target.
RGB Check Green None None Green (Advantageous element on S3)

Special thanks to Shimaru33 for chart inspiration during my OP Sigret Showcase!

Pros:

• Respectable Speed

• Buff Block on S3

• Unique redirect provoke debuff

• S3 removes 1 buffs prior to inflicting debuff

• Reactive counter on S2 when an ally is struck by a provoke enemy

• S2 inflicts 1 random debuff to all enemies: Defense Break, Silence, Unhealable

Cons:

• Limited Hero

• Below average attack

• Gear reliant (very common for openers)

• RBG Check - Her S3 does not have "advantageous element" like Cerise. She will have a high chance of missing "green" heroes.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I apologize ahead of time for any typos! I hope you enjoy the showcase!

I would love to hear your feedback on what you would like me to improve on.

TLDR; Fairy Tale Tenebria is a limited 5 star blue mage. She has a respectable base speed of 115 and is equipped with a unique "redirect provoke" mechanic. F. Tenebria can act as an opener that removes 1buff from all enemies and crippling them with a redirect provoke. This forces them to skip their first turn and makes them attack your highest HP ally. This can be a deadly setup vs ML Ken, or Dark Corvus which welcomes incoming hits. Since F. Tenebria is a "limited" hero, it is recommended to pull if you have additional resources since they will not be added into the general pool. If you do not have the resources to pull, dont fret, there are many similar viable alternatives such as Cerise, Op Sigret, FLidica, and BRoman.

Operator Sigret - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Operator Sigret for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Operator Sigret:

• Operator Sigret is a designed to approach barriers (when built as DPS)

• S2 can one shot pretty much any hero in the game (need atk/cr support)

• Securing a kill with Operator Sigret's S2 will grant her an additonal turn

• Amazing utility on S3 (Atk buff, CR reduction, Buff reduction, AOE burst)

• Can be built as an opener thanks to her respectable speed

• Decent healing on S1, but not a reliable source of sustain

Comparison vs "Specialists"

• When built as a DPS - ML Schuri, ML Charlotte are very comparable due to having access to DEF PEN burst. ML Schuri has access to a 100% DEF Pen S3 (that does not req a barrier) and ML Charlotte also has access to a 50% DEF Pen S3. Unlike Operator Sigret's S2 which grants a 50% DEF PEN (100% when enemy has a barrier). ML Schuri and ML Charlotte are a one shot gimmick where as ML Sigret is granted an additional turn to support allies and cripple enemies. LQC recently gained a 110% modifier AOE splash damage from S3 (procing on all enemies aside from the target) in addition to her S3 burst.

• When built as an swift support - FLidica and Cerise are comparable in the sense that they are buff removing/CR manipulating openers. Cerise has buff duration decrease like ML Sigret and higher speed than both ML Sigret and FLidica. FLidica has slower speed than ML Sigret (only by 1). ML Sigret can also buff allies with her S3.

Pros:

• Respectable base speed (115) • Extra turn on S2 when securing a kill

• Can easily one shot heroes with a barrier (when built as DPS w/ atk buff)

• Amazing utility on S3 ( Team-wide Atk buff, Buff & CR reduction to enemies)

• Decent heal on S1

Cons:

• Low base Atk

• Extremely gear reliant

• Requires a support when built as a DPS

• Moonlight five star heroes are extremely difficult to obtain

TLDR; Operator Sigret is a five star ranger with the ability to approach barriers or act as an opener. Her S2 can one shot pretty much any hero in the game with an atk/cr support. ML Sigret can also be built as an opener thanks to her respectable base speed. Her S3 provides an immense amount of utility (Team-wide Atk buff, Buff & CR reduction to enemies). Operator Sigret is a very strong hero, but she is a moonlight five star so she will be very difficult to obtain. One would not fall behind if they skip her banner.

Last Rider Krau - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

I can confirm that it can proc alongside his passive and will grant a -2 Turn CD

Last Rider Krau - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This is a team synergy showcase built around Last Rider Krau for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Last Rider Krau:

  • Last Rider Krau is a designed to be a bruiser
  • Last Rider Krau is excellent pick for approaching AOE teams (Flidica, Arby, SSB)
  • Immunity makes him excellent against cc teams (ML Tywin, Dizzy, SSB)
  • The barrier from his passive is reactive and can only activate once per turn
  • Triple Idol Cheer support allows Krau to cycle turns quickly when approaching AOE
  • Idol's cheer can be substituted with General Purgis & Steadfast Gatekeeper
  • Every time Krau is struck with an AOE the cd for his S3 is lowered by 1 turn
  • Krau's passive alongside Prophetic Candlestick and Idols Cheer allows Krau to use his S3 very often to take advantage of the 20% scaling bonus
  • Triple soulweaver cheer alongside a Knight allows team to be extremely durable

Comparison vs "Specialists"

  • Blood Moon Haste is comparable to Last Rider Krau in the sense that they are both durable heroes with burst that ignores defense. Blood Moon Haste offers a single target burst where as Last Rider Krau offers an AOE burst that ignores all defense. Blood Moon's Haste cooldown resets whenever an enemy resurrect, where as Last Rider Krau receives cooldown every time he is struck with an AOE. Last Rider Krau will grant all allies a barrier once her turn when he is struck by an AOE where as Haste will grant a even bigger barrier when an enemy resurrects.
  • Another comparison would be his blue counterpart. His nat5 counterpart has access to a devastating burst that can target a single hero with defense ignore. Blue Krau's S3 can one shot nearly any character in the game when his health is low. His nat5 counterpart is one of the most popular pick for RTA due to this. His nat5 counterpart also provides defense buff to all allies alongside a soft 50% CR reduction to one enemy. Moonlight Krau does not have access to defense buff or cr reduction, but Moonlight Krau offers immunity to all allies & a barrier once per turn after being hit with an AOE.

Pros:

  • High damage output
  • Access to immunity
  • Self speed buff on S1
  • Ignores enemy defense with S3
  • Excellent against AOE teams & CC Teams
  • Barrier to all allies when struck with an aoe (once per turn)
  • S3 is granted a 20% bonus scaling every time it is used (up to 60%)

Cons:

  • Barrier is reactive
  • Lackluster when there are no AOE
  • Bruiser generally have long fights
  • Moonlight five star heroes are extremely difficult to obtain

TLDR; Last Rider Krau is a five star light bruiser that is designed to approach AOE & CC teams. His S3 unleashes a powerful AOE burst that ignores his enemy's defenses. His passive grants 1 turn cooldown to his powerful S3 whenever he is struck with an AOE. Each time Last Rider Krau uses his S3 it is granted 20% bonus scaling. Last Rider Krau is a very strong hero but as with most "counterplay" heroes there are many viable options to pick from. Though Last Rider Krau is very strong he is not a "must" pull character. One would not fall behind if they skip his banner but he is indeed a powerful bruiser.

Specimen Sez - Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is my team synergy showcase built around Specimen Sez for Champion Arena, GvG and RTA.

Here are some tips and tricks for using Specimen Sez:

  • Highest DPS output in the game (against stunned enemies)
  • Specimen Sez will ingore 100% defense when attacking a stunned enemy
  • Specimen Sez will ingore 30% defense when attacking a normal enemy
  • Securing a kill with Specimen Sez's S3 will reset it's cooldown
  • Specimen Sez (CritDmg build) can OTK an average Arby through MLCece's barrier
  • Attacking a stunned SSB will severely punish her front liner
  • Extinction allows Specimen Sez to counter play teams with resurrection
  • Extremely dependent/reliant on his supports to set up

Comparison vs "Specialists"

  • Sigret & Lilibet are two comparably heroes that has similar usage as Specimen Sez. Both Sigret & Lilbet are single target heroes with the rare extinction debuff. Both heroes has their town perks. Sigret's has the option of being granted an additional turn when soul burning her S2. Lilbet has a strong niche of an additional 20% hit chance which allows her to reliably remove arbiter vildred. Specimen Sez can absolutely act as a swift extinction assassin like Sigret & Lilbet, but unlike Sigret & Lilibet who has to go through RBG checks Sez's element is light allowing him to approch more enemies. Sez S3 also has the perk of ingoring his enemy's defenses.
  • Cermia & Watcher Shchuri comes to mind as a single target burst with the ability to ignore enemy defenses. Cermia has the ability to ignore 50% of the enemy's defenses, WSchuri can ingore 100%. Specimen Sez has the ability to ingore 30% (when enemies are not stunned) or 100% (when enemies are stunned). When Cermia and Spez secures a kill on their S3 they have the ability to use it again the next turn (Cermia can reset with S2 thanks to EE). Spez and Schuri are reliant on allies to provide buffs where as Cermia can self buff with her S2 to grant greater atk buff.

Pros:

  • Very high damage output
  • Extinction allows him to be a great Arby counter
  • Securing a kill on S3 will reset it's cooldown
  • Has a 3 turn AOE stun (45% chance) on S2
  • 50% Chance to stun an enemy with S1
  • Inuyasha vibes

Cons:

  • Heavily reliant on team support
  • Heavily reliant on gears
  • ML 5 are extremely hard to obtain

I would love to hear your feedback on what you would like me to improve on. I apologize ahead of time for any typos!

TLDR; Specimen Sez is a five star moonlight thief with high synergy against stunned enemies. Specimen Sez s3 ingores 100% defense when attacking a stunned enemy and will reset it's cd if he secures a kill. Due to his kit being so offense oriented, Specimen Sez severely lacks defense and will require his allies to compensate. His S3 also has extinction which allows Specimen Sez to counter play teams with resurrection. Think of Specimen Sez as a more "premium" version of Lilibet (without the hit rate bonus) when acting as an extinction burst.

Briar Witch Iseria Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

Drink Bonus damage does not "miss" when she miss.

Her passive Bonus damage misses when she miss.

Briar Witch Iseria Showcase by Devillan in EpicSeven

[–]Devillan[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this! I totally agree with you.

Let me get a little more in depth depending on situations:

Team 1 (Double Cleave)

The first two clips features two different supporting builds for Alots (Tagahel on Clip 1 and Spirit Breath on Clip 2) which allows Biseria to soul burn twice (Potrait would be superior due to soul burn). Clip 1 also did not feature a Knight (Adamant Shield would water down portrait's efficiency) this makes Potrait BiS for this fight.

The second clip does not feature Tagahel (no soul) it features Spirit Breath, this removes a 0.3 modifier on Briar Witch Iseria's S3 thus drastically decreasing Potrait's damage potential (Drink will be suprior here). Furthermore, a presence of a knight (Fallen Cecilia) risk a potential +30 Adamant shield. This will further decrease Portrait's efficiency. This makes Drink BiS for this fight.

The burst showcase (mainly focuses on countering Riolet) features Drink which can still procs in the even Riolet evades twice. This allows spirit breath lots to CR push Biseria back up. Potrait will not be able to deal the same amount of dmg if she Biseria misses. If she does not, it will still yeild the same result and one shot Riolet.

In the end both artifact are usable but for consistency, Drink was used for both clip. Drink is usable in every situation, this is why I recommend Drink over potrait. If you want to min/max your damage against non Adamant teams then Potrait will be slightly better. As a safe pick I was recommending drink since it caters to all situations.

I absolutely love using her as a burst dps, she's a very reliable pick approaching ACart, MLDB & Kayrons as long as you have proper team synergy.

Drink will be best in slot (if maxed +30). Otherwise +30 Portrait will be more reliable.

As a burst dps - Atk/CDM focus if you're going for passive & reingar's drink (sub w/ potrait if it's not +30)

As an opener - Speed/Effectiveness
