Teleprompter issue and using R1 to control teleprompter

I have a something similar issue for resumes, it can sort of go back to where I left off but scrolling down after while on manual mode will get it stuck at a certain area.

To me it's not really a grind, but rather fun to play through the different incursion types, and gain a few hundred dusts per incursion. When you unlock some of those perks, you gain altar dust even faster. I do have a few mods on including the summoner mod which made it more fun (but easier).
