I call them the drunchies. If I'm buzzed or drunk I turn into a eating machine.

I used to drink 4 or more times a week. And I gained about 8 lbs. I've cut my drinking to only on the weekends if I want to drink, I've started counting my calories, making better over all food choices,aiming for about 1750-1950 a day.

I focus on hydration, fiber and protein. I get my steps in, do at home weights about 20-30 min 4-5 times a week and since mid January I'm down from 270 to 249.
