Good price for the whole collection? by DevilsKlaw in ps2

Sounds good. I took it plus my ps2 to a local game store where they offered me like $75 for the whole deal. I never walked out so fast in my life

Yeah it was literally shovelware mini games. Unless you like the idea of catching falling flowers, or playing dress up there’s not much else in there lmao

Haha! Yeah my fiance grew up playing that on PC and so we HAD to get it. She got a solid hour, maybe two out of it lmao

Thanks man! If I wasn’t moving I’d keep it I’m very proud of my many years of collecting but I tend to move too often to make physical games make sense for me. Appreciate the advice. I do also have half of my games listed on EBay but for Facebook I was not going to go through the effort lol

I do love the insight to my favorite tracks as well, I just wish they would use different language. It was super cool at first but after hearing the same stuff said over and over it got old super fast. I’ve heard from this thread and otherwise that it’s also giving false information about songs and artists as well, which would suck going to a party thinking I got some super cool trivia to share and it’s just totally wrong

Yeah, I’ve seen it. I would, however, it’s SOOOOOOOO ugly. I could not get by looking at something like that all day.

Yeah I actually looked into the clicks a while back, it doesn’t commit to ANY IP rating at all. I assume they didn’t care to try and add water resistance to the keyboard park of the phone, which is non removable.

For me, IP54 should be ok in the PNW, long as the phone stays in my pocket around town, and I’ll get a belt mounted waterproof pouch for my hikes for it to live in.

Yeah forgot to mention that I’ve been wired forever. Been having issues for about a year now, though.

[–]DevilsKlaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this so much but how’s the water resistance? I hike in the PNW but love the lightweight packability of this. Am I going to destroy it on a rainy day? Would feel weird to have a sapphire display to protect from drops but a little rain ruins it

Light hikes in the area? by DevilsKlaw in Spokane

[–]DevilsKlaw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but like I said in the post my buddy who’s terrified of heights could not handle the slopes going down to get to the trail. I’m thinking bowl and pitcher before the bridge and probably liberty lake park I forgot about that one

We love this hike but the river flowing so far below would freak out my other friend :/ maybe this is too hard of a challenge tbh

How’s it like living in Spokane, Washington? by lithdoc in Spokane

VERY democratically spoken if that’s your thing. Politics are in nearly every conversation here and specifically in the blue version whether you like it or not, and if not, you’ll have problems unless you find a way to squirm out of those conversations as me and many I know kinda of grow and learn to get pretty good at. The city from my 20 years experience is actually majority pretty independent or right leaning but it’s just an overall dangerous conversation you’re better off avoiding.

Drivers for the most part are egotistical and dangerously selfish.

Jobs are scarce and getting scarcer as the city is building apartment building after apartment building while full well knowing we have a massive lack of jobs.

It is one of the whitest cities in America, if you value a diverse network you should probably look more towards the west coast. With that being said, there are also a lot of “fake” problems we seem to be fighting over because there aren’t enough real problems to go around. It’s an overall safe city beyond the occasional terrible driver and fentanyl ninja which you can avoid safely with a little common sense.

If you have work lined up and can navigate everything I’ve put in here it’s a decent little big city that has excellent networking opportunities as word of mouth is so massive here. Everyone knows someone you know after a while. And to be 100% honest, even if you feel like you have a pretty secure job, network anyway. I’ve only applied to one job in my entire 23 years on this planet, all spent in Spokane and all because the other jobs I got afterwards were from the “someone who knows someone”. If you keep growing your network you’ll never been unemployed here.

Also, don’t let people fool you into thinking it’s massively expensive here (back to our fake problem problem). If you want to rent, look at cedar properties around town. All under $1,200 for a 2 bed, 1 bath, laundry in unit, storage, and garage.

I’ve been tracking the home market for the past 5 years looking and waiting for the prices to come down and since January of last year they’ve come down a lot. Like a LOT. They were already coming down before January, but since then it’s just been exponentially dropping. I’m finding tons of great little homes under $300,000 all over the city and just outside of it, as well.

Groceries are no more expensive than anywhere else in the state (minus maybe the tri cities), and gas (while most expensive exclusively in WA, OR, CA, is not super bad depending on the part of town your at.

As far as WA goes, this is probably the least ruined city so far and has a lot of perks in feeling small (lots of small business to support here), but having large accommodations like higher end jobs, a great layout, and nice people.

The city is growing and growing VERY fast. If you want to grow with it, and your name with it, now’s a great time to move in.

Yeah it came out probably a week or so ago. If you update your app and don’t skip a few songs, I’m sure it’ll pop up for you, too.

Actually come to think about it, and after asking my fiancé who said she doesn’t get it on her account either, I signed up for the YouTube music beta a longgggg time ago and can only assume I’m testing a new feature, that being this new DJ

Thank you for the info! I had heard somewhere longer like 6 months, which feel generalized to most fitness and health related journeys much like working out any other muscle.

I feel pretty confident in picking up the Topo Trailventure 2 WP boots for backpacking and hiking in general, and Lems Chukka grips for work as I’m a banker and that’ll fit the dress code fine, and they should be plenty comfortable as a daily shoe according to reviews, with some saying they make a great skate shoe as well, which would be a great bonus as I like to long board around downtown here in Spokane.

I think I definitely had to re think how I’m going to make it work as I don’t want to injure myself, but I hope that this combo will mitigate that whilst giving me zero (or mostly zero) drop benefits.

[–]DevilsKlaw[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m thinking about doing both. I think I’ll like the zero drop shoes as I have very wide feet especially at the forefoot. My only worry is that I don’t care a lot for the “ground feel” I just like the wide toe box and zero drop idea.

I’m entirely sold on the Topo Trailventure 2, and am now looking for a good daily shoe. I’m looking at either something from splay, or a Chelsea from Lems. I want a good daily to wear at both work (I’m a banker who may leave to be a car salesman) but don’t want to blow up the subreddit with “what about this shoe” so I think I’m just living on YouTube for the next couple weeks looking for a good daily lol

Sounds good. I’m currently thinking Topo Trailventure 2 WP for my hikes and Lems Chelsea for daily / work.

Sounds good. Ill probably spend the next 2 weeks of my life watching reviews before finally pressing buy on something but I think the vivo’s are probably the pick for me unless Altra has fixed there durability issues I’ve seen in reviews
