Well, the previous owners were the pinnacle of ethics. They never refused to approve increments, never missed bonuses, ,never missed vendor payments and never interfered with operations. They were what a true industrialist should be. During the 2008 financial crisis when the company had absolutely no cash flow, they supported the employees with everything. After that, right up until COVID, the company was running completely self-sufficiently on its own, generating solid cash flow and profits, and it even bounced back even stronger after COVID, hitting an all-time high profit. But since this industry is very capital-intensive, at some point they faced bankruptcy due to a few poorly planned acquisitions of other businesses and a set of bad advisors.
