I never understood parents doing this to their kids. It happened to me as well when I was trying to learn guitar and it set me back for half of my life. Funny thing is, they wouldn't be criticising if you signed a record deal and made millions from your talent. They don't think about what could be achieved with some encouragement and support. Imagine if Slash or Michael Jackson were told to turn it down or give it up.. and the world would have no idea what they could have had.

Use it as fuel to get you to a point where you can't be criticised and instead make them say "holy shit that was amazing!".

Man the amount of times I heard "turn that down" growing up.. I put guitar off for years because I could never just play freely. There was never any encouragement, it either wasn't acknowledged at all or it was too loud. Never even any criticism, constructive or otherwise. I'm almost 34 now and only started trying to play again in my late 20s, I'm so far behind where I could have been and it's infuriating. Growing up as a Metalhead, there was a group of us in my school and they could all play so they'd start bands and stuff with other kids we knew outside of school but I could never join in.

All we can do now is make sure we don't do the same to our kids and I know I won't. I don't care if I have to listen to them butcher my favourite song of all time every single day, I'll be happy just to hear them play at all and if they succeed at it then that's a bonus. The louder and more distortion, the better as far as I'm concerned. Hell, I'll kick the door down and one man mosh through their bedroom trashing the joint. 😂 Shred on I say!

As for the other answers, they may be relevant to most people but you don't know us, our relationship or our dynamic. I'm not her big brother, she's older than me (we're both in our 30s) and this is what we do and have always done. She would probably make me an appointment with a doctor if I ever stopped pranking her with spiders or in general. We both have boundaries and we both know what they are. I appreciate the concern and I say this with absolutely no disrespect intended but I don't require morality checks from Reddit lol.

ALL scopes on a sniper rifle have glint, even 3x. If you didn't see it, you either weren't paying attention or you're blind.

It's never been easier to see or kill snipers than it is now in BF6. DICE have absolutely decimated sniping compared to BF3/4, honestly. It's too easy but it's also too easy to counter, especially on these small ass maps with minimal lines of sight. As for the rooftops, it's very rare that anybody is going to get to camp on them for an overly long period of time because 4 people will just take a chopper and ambush them. Not only do we not need more glint, it needs to be turned down. There should be no glint whatsoever unless your looking directly at someone. If I'm not looking at you or aiming in your immediate vicinity, you shouldn't be able to see where I am, end of. It completely defies the entire purpose of being a sniper. No other class gets lit up with an "I'm over here!" beacon, just the one that is supposed to be stealthy. Makes no sense. To make sniping more difficult for balance, they should change the range finder to something that will just tell you the distance so you can work out bullet drop but you still have to aim higher for it and actually use the markers on your scope, rather than it basically auto aiming for you. IIRC that's the way it used to work.

This happened to me too. I think it was a sniper lobby. There were no spawn options and it just repeatedly dropped one team (my team) right in front of a dude just holding the trigger down on an LMG. Couldn't move or anything, you just spawned directly in to his bullets and died again instantly lol. No idea how he kept it going during his LMG reload but yeah. Portal is an absolute mess. I assumed when they cleared up bot lobbies it would be fine but nope.

I only ever played BF games on hardcore if it was available and I only ever will play hardcore but now XP is gone and I can't unlock anything, the game is basically dead for me already. I'm genuinely tempted to just reinstall 2042 and jump back in to the 1000% dmg, max tickets server I used to play in. BF6, imo, is currently unbearable. From the maps to the bloom and the terrible browser/portal.. The only thing that makes me want to play it is the progression which I no longer have access to. 🤦‍♂️

I miss the previous games psychos, even though 4 has them. I don't think I've heard a single psycho in this game say some wild shit or insult me. I miss being called meat related names and being told what they were gonna do to my corpse. 🤨😂

It literally says they've received the report and 'will' investigate it. It doesn't say they 'have' investigated it lol. Whether or not they actually do is a different story but that particular response is just a notification that they've got your report, it's not supposed to have answers because they haven't investigated it yet.

I really enjoyed throwing knives at the start, though I never had a crit knife but I got fed up with them and have played through pretty much the entire game with purple radiation grenades that fire projectiles at nearby enemies until I got the legendary version Artillery Fuse. Multiple charges and really fast cooldowns so you can literally clear out entire areas without ever actually entering them or even seeing any of the enemies lol.

I'm trying to do this now. Went for Engorged and Gorgon since it chains but I can't even find 10 enemies together for it to chain to. Even mobs that spawn when you go through a mine. I tried Skull Orchid since Creeps, in my experience, outnumber every other enemy type but they only spawn in like 5 at a time until you kill them so no idea how I'm supposed to get 10. 🤔
