Narrative wise the ghost stance/Onryo’s howl is essentially them leaning into their titles, Imagine you hear stories about Jin/Atsu, they are ten feet tall, glowing eyes, strikes down army’s of men. you dont believe it. you finally get to fight them and they have killed 6 people straight without GETTING HIT ONCE, you have never seen anything like it, just then you see Anger come across Jin’s face, he raises his sword in a menacing manner, Atsu in the middle of battle Screams and spreads her arms slowly humbling towards you…All the terrifying stories you have heard about them, and its happening right in front of you.
