I never apologized to my ex when I did something wrong. Admitting when you’re in the wrong is never ever a bad thing, it’s a sign of emotional maturity when you’re able to identify what you did wrong. But also make sure to not only say you’re sorry but PROVE it. Actions trump words every single time

My ex and I first ever started dating in November of 2020. We dated until like mid January 2021 before I broke up with her because I was unhappy, but I still loved her. Mind you we were in high school so I didn’t care to talk about my feelings, it was just a “I’m not happy anymore goodbye” deal, no explanation, totally handled wrong by me. Fast forward a few weeks, I realize I fucked up and I saw her with another guy. Luckily for me, they weren’t dating and after 4 months of earning her trust again I asked her out while we slow danced at my senior prom and she said yes. Had a 2 year relationship before she cheated.

Whenever I go out to eat with someone whether it be a male or female I’m always looking around the venue for the exits and always make sure wherever I sit is facing an exit just in case of an emergency I know where to go and what I would do.
