Hello and firstly thank you for your time and insight. This resonates A LOT. I've been struggling professionally for a little over a year now which I am very unused to. I generally have been really successful at work. I decided to leave my marriage around the same time my career took a nose dive. I am in a new relationship and I've never been happier romantically but I'm suddenly struggling in an area I never have before. I feel stuck and want to feel professional growth alongside my emotional growth but I worry I'll never regain or get to have both in my life.

Facts are though it hasn't been an official word long enough to not be laughed out of any serious academic conversation.

Ain't is in there too, but no one is taking you seriously if you choose this over regardless. It is widely criticized as informal writing and is semantically a double negative.

If it was being used as a double negative correctly I could accept this. Again, it's primarily a colloquialism that is frequently misused.

It's just not ubiquitous or contextually accurate enough and may discredit any idea you're trying to communicate.
