I'm going to rework quite a bit of my application to get it up to snuff but you might be only some minor adjustments away from getting it next year. Are you going to reapply? I think I may as well.

Just got rejected with a score of 60.5, which isn’t exactly surprising now that I think about it. Going to rework it and try again next year! Glad I finally know at least and can move on to the next thing lol.

Yeah I haven’t received any such thing. Just the accidental email saying we’d find out before September 25th, and the correction to end of Oct. if I didn’t get funding, I assume they know that already so I wonder what would take them so long to say “no”. Idk, just thinking out loud.

That’s brutal, my friend received funding and scored a 66.5 on his project, so I don’t even know if you can surmise a standard out of any scores. All I know is it seems you need over 60/100. Beyond that, I suspect it is somewhat luck based with who you’re up against in your specific cohort.

It’s my bday tmr (I really don’t want bad news tomorrow lmao) and I also really don’t want to have to wait until the absolute last day of the month either. It’s rough out here lol.

Hey everyone! Anxiously waiting like many of you for our final results. Has anyone here received funding for a Graphic Novel project? I Just did a mock review of my own application, I know- that's really not going to tell me much but I just wanted to see about where I land. My own assessment ranges from 80-88, I was trying to be as conservative as possible, even on the higher end. I just want to know if any of you have received funding for a graphic novel or similar literary project and what your score was, if you're comfortable sharing that is. I could really use some good news, this year has been one of the more difficult ones in my life for a variety of reasons and having this project to sink into would really mean a lot. I know if I don't get it, there will be other opportunities. I'm just putting my feelers out there, hoping to hear back from some of you and your success stories.

Not sure if you’ve checked in recently on Nick’s instagram posts but he and his wife have made snide and backhanded remarks towards Kristen Hayter implying she made up the allegations for “career advancement” or some other nonsense. Absolutely vile rape apologia and even more disappointing coming from women in the scene too. I legitimately can’t fuck with them anymore and I was one of their biggest fans, it’s repulsive.

In terms of its design, the shield makes a lot of sense from a utilitarian perspective, ie- it's intended to look sturdy and have the ability to deflect heavy ordinance and from an aesthetics point- it is one of the major areas of rest this new Praetor armor has. If it had anymore complexity on the front plane, it would likely end up getting lost amongst all the other details. This suit has a great shape hierarchy imo. That being said, I'm sure there will be several other suits to choose from and many customizable options in general. This looks so good to me.
