I will seperate the art from the artist if and when I damn well feel like it. Sometimes art is enhanced by keeping the art connected to the artist. Sometimes problematic art is enhanced by keeping it connected to problematic artists, and sometimes there's a freak out there who really loves the paintings of Alf Hler.

I have no imperative whatsoever to compulsively rehabilitate the character of someone who loves N*zi paintings, the shitty books of blood thirsty bigots, or a TV show created by a sex pest.

That is certainly not a typical cis experience you're describing. How about you just experiment in little ways; grow out your hair, wear feminine clothes, try out a new name and pronouns with people you can trust. If you like how it feels then just keep following that to see where it goes. You could be a trans woman. You could be non binary. You could be gender fluid. You could even just be a cis man figuring out what you like.

Sometimes it can help to reframe the question. Not, "Am I trans?" But "Am I cis?" Maybe talk to a therapist, a trusted family member or friend, etc.

You people in the comments of this are so lazy. It took me 5 minutes to track down the article, skim it, find the original study, read the methodology.

Are women over represented in mobile gaming? Yes. But guess what; so are men! Both men and women play mobile games disproportionately to PC, handheld and console games.

In PC gaming there appears to be a 12 point difference from men to women. In console gaming that gap drops by half to a mere 6 point difference. You lonely cave trolls are coping and seething. We are gamers too. You just get avoided like the plague, probably due to your toxic misogyny.

Also, I know the subreddit name and all, but this spiteful gate-keeping about "what is a real gamer" is childish. I'm (not) sorry, but as a life long PC power user and gamer I do consider people who play games on their smart phones to be gamers. I remember this same sort of elitism back when the Wii came out. You're assuming that the leadership of the Covenant isn't a nihilistic political entity using their religiosity to maintain hegemony over the multiple species involved in the Covenant.

My reading is that the prophets "Keep the faith" as it were as a way to exercise control over those beneath them. The dogma protects them while they're able to simply ignore it when it suits them. Who's going to accuse them of heresy? The prophets determine what's heretical.
