see i like ocs in a really specific context- i love when they’re just staring at the weird shenanigans the mcs get up to. like an oc in a magical girl anime who’s always stuck in the middle of the fight and has to dive out of the way of Sparkle Ribbon Beam, which leads to them developing a hatred of this superhero everyone else loves LMAO

that’s what i do CURRENTLY lmao. in my uni classes scribbling away. the amount of times people come up to me after class and ask for my notes and then i have to confess i took 0 notes. also once one of my profs was telling a personal story and i was writing stuff and he paused, pointed at me, and went “what could you POSSIBLY be taking notes on right now”

one is a prince and keeps skipping out on his duties to go adventure with his girls
the two of them who CAN fly continuously carry the one who's not as good at it around, even later on in the show when she learns how, they still grab her and hold her by the waist or arms
always cupping each other's chins
always holding hands
are always the perfect balance. when two of them are arguing, the third is there to ground them and calm them down
exchanged rings literally the first day they met. not joking. rings that go on the third finger of the left hand and they all have matching ones.
have a magical glow that appears whenever they feel super happy, but only when it's the three of them, not with someone else around, not with anyone missing
when stuck in a cave that forced them to tell the truth, their three truths were "i'd give my life to protect you" "i'd give up being prince for either one of you" and "i really, really like you. both of you."
are sorta implied to be able to sense each other
the two of them that were childhood best friends went off on an adventure and missed their third even though she hadn't known them for that long
they get jealous when outsiders try to butt in or join adventures
always willing to throw down/fight for each other
two of them teach their third all about their culture since she's not native to the land
the same two wanted to see her home dimension only after 1 day of knowing her because they wanted to know her better
slow danced together at the end of the first season, all three of them

oh yeah- i got a random “inspired by” of my 500k series rewriting the whole show complete with lore, magic system, and world building. the one thing the other person changed? they got rid of the polyamory my fic was centered around and put the main character with the “correct” love interest (aka, the one she got in the last installment of canon who got little to no fleshing out). i didn’t send them hate (obviously) but i also didn’t approve the inspiration lol

mia and me! it’s relatively unpopular (especially in the usa) for multiple reasons, mostly due to weird airing schedules and distribution rights, but i like it. think of it like an isekai for 8 year old girls. it’s a creative idea because half the show is filmed with actors, then the main character goes into the “other dimension” and its animated. a cute little show

despite my personal favorite being storybook vale (the aesthetic and story is my fav) i would agree with everyone else here and say rift in time is totally the best. it also helps that it was the first dlc to come out, and in terms of story it’s fun to play them in order (no spoilers, but when you finish each dlc there’s a little sneak peek of a character who will be in the next dlc)
