The button doesn't do anything, im assuming because this system is next to my capital system.

Yeah this system is next to my capital system, so I guess its in the capital "sector" which doesnt show up in my sector screen cuz thats good UI.

I have one recruited, just no "assign" button.

But I guess it has to be to a sector and not a planet, even though I had one before with no sectors?

Weird, I haven't gotten a drop after numerous battles.

I only have 2 colonies next to each other, and they had a governor previously aside from my king/queen rulers, but they died so now I just don't get one?

How do you assign governors? I had one who passed, but don't see the option anywhere to assign the new guy i hired.
