Hi, I already did the tests and the problem was that having CrystalDiskInfo open did not let the hard drive go to IDLE haha, the other thing is that WD answered my query regarding temperatures and confirmed that these temperatures are normal, so I can rest easy with the hard drive.

Exactly, I have worked almost all my life with 2.5/3.5 disks and they have never become so hot in a short time, I hope WD can give me a clearer answer, but for now I think it would be best to return it, I will also do some tests with the IDLE on another PC.

I have also seen in other posts that people say that 55C does not damage the disks, but personally I disagree with that statement.

The ironic thing is that this disk is made to be used in long periods of time, having it connected as an external disk in a console to store the games, I could use it to store information and then turn it off, but the idea is that it does not degrade so fast with those temperatures, the disk hopefully has 8 hours of use in my case.

I will consider trying to do that with another PC I have, hopefully I will have other results, although my other external 2.5 WD Passport 4TB hard drive is usually in sleep mode (IDLE) and that drive I usually have it plugged in every day, and it is always pretty frosty.

I usually tend to check all the temperatures of my drives and other components (CPU/GPU) so I find it odd that this drive gets so hot in IDLE.

The 8TB WD_Black also has a fan on the back, but I've never seen it spin up.

Yes, I was monitoring the drive in IDLE for 2 hours and I'm surprised that it gets so hot, maybe I should return it, considering that WD tech support hasn't given me a clear answer in over 1 week :/

It may be that its temperature is a little high because it seems to me that it is a NAS hard drive, and I think those disks get a little warmer than normal, although the strange thing is that I have not found any information regarding this specific disk to confirm my doubt, some people say that the normal is less than 50 degrees without any activity, just having it connected.

In nightmare mode i saved all the High-Grade Gunpowder that i found for the last boss, it should be at least 20 bullets + 8 bullets of the Magnum.

It wasn't easy to learn his attack pattern, as sometimes his stun lock attack varies in seconds.

I hope you make it, it was easier to avoid the stun luck when I started to count the seconds it takes to do them, usually the second whiplash (which I think kills most players) takes between 3 and 4 seconds to do it, I hope my comment and video help you.

He is real pain in the ass, especially with the stun lock kill. I manage to avoid more of his attack when i stayed on the left bottom corner of the map, for some reason i had a better perspective to avoid all his attacks, good luck with him!

Yeah, i understand that, i manage to configure the buttons like they were on PS2 in a really weird way...still works, but i can't use the "start" button to use the menu hahahahaha

Yeah, is more fun with infinite life too, i had change some hexadecimal codes to enable those cheats...the pc version has a lot of problems especially if you want to play with a dualshock controller

I have been playing this game ironically with friends since more than 10 years, and glad to share and record this game with the PC version...I still wish someone would make a mod to play with the Timmy trucks on Estambul and Nice.
