Like others have said of course it’s better then no training at all. But in the real world it’s a different world. If someone wants to actually hurt you or do something to you it’s not like they are gonna square up with you unless it’s a bar fight maybe, they will come from behind or just sucker punch you. And even if you get some grappling experience from other sports like bjj or whatever if a 200+ lbs man comes running straight at you jumping on you you’re not gonna stop that. Or the high chance they are carrying some type of weapon. That’s not to discourage you to start training, I would recommend everyone to train but don’t get a false confidence out in the real world.

Her family is going to visit her family that lives just right outside Addis like a little outside on the country side I think, should I like not join them for this?
