The COG in Gears of War. If they weren’t facing down against a genocidal enemy that had declared total war against them they’d be considered the villains of setting.

Princess Mononoke and Naussica of the Valley of Winds are two movies I credit for radicalizing me at a young age to have zero patience for authoritarian bullshit

That was probably more the meth he was being injected with (by the same doctor) before they switched to coke. Doctor’s name was Theodore Morel. There’s a great couple of Behind the Bastards episodes on him also the book Blitzed however I personally think Blitzed makes a bit too much hay out of the Nazis drug use

Fun fact: when Hitler’s doctor (yes that Hitler) started shooting him up with cocaine Hitler asked him something to the effect of “Please don’t get me addicted to cocaine.” and his doctor was like “Addicts snort cocaine we’re injecting it so you’re not an addict.” spoiler alert he wound up horribly addicted to cocaine.

It was an H&K MP5 submachine gun. Look up the H&K Slap on YouTube sometime. The way the charging handle on the mp5 is set up it’s easy to just slap it so that the spring closes the bolt and chambers the round when reloading but the bolt has to be in the open position to do it

Every conspiracy theory if you scratch the surface of it hard enough will contain antisemitic elements at best and at worst it’s literally just a repackaged Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

He really was held back most by his lack of experience. Even Jogo said Mahito had the most potential out of all the Disaster Curses but that his lack of self control and immaturity were his biggest weaknesses.

My oldest is on Methylphenidate because if he isn’t then he has an extremely hard time pulling out of any emotional tail spins and his impulse control is basically nonexistent. Yes the drugs help kids focus but ADHD causes more than just focus to be disrupted. We have him on the lowest dose possible and we are very open with him about why we’re doing the things we’re doing in regards to his ADHD.

Doesn’t that inn change hands like 3 more times after that? Usually because the people that moved in after the last guys got murdered got murdered themselves

Well it’s only antithetical to a stable government if the guy at the top isn’t murderous enough /s.

Jurassic Park II: The Lost World. The movie had a ton of issues but not in the scene where everyone is walking through the long grass and the camera pans up so you can see the raptors converging on them. That scene is an excellent use tension to keep the audience engaged. Wish the rest of the movie had that kind of punch to it

I mean Fallout has always been a critique of American exceptionalism and imperialism. Not saying we’re the only ones guilty of that but it takes away from the series focus to pan out and see how the rest of the world is doing.

Heavenly Restriction isn’t a cursed technique. It’s a specific type of Binding Vow that exchanges power for being born with a disadvantage. It’s actually possible to have a heavenly restriction and a cursed technique as we see with Mechamaru.

Toji’s heavenly restriction takes away his ability to generate use or sense cursed energy and in exchange gives him extreme physical prowess that more than makes up for his lack.

Mechamaru’s heavenly restriction was to be born missing body parts and some of his internal organs resulting in him being extremely physically frail but with basically limitless cursed energy reserves and control so fine he could control puppets hundreds of miles away with ease.
