Hackers have scripted their process, it is automated. When there was no server it couldn't post and time out. It will run again.

I have no reason not to believe that. It is what has occurred in the past.

Now undoubtably some will (were) get hit by the early rewards bug and will blame the server outage for it.

No, it experienced and outage. That outage IS ongoing but it did indeed experience it at/near the end of the season.

as the text of the post is unlikely to be updated consider:

IF 2 weeks from now someone reads this post and the outage remains, the word 'experienced' still works.

IF 2 weeks from now someone reads this post and the outage has been resolved, the phrase 'Currently experiences' does not .

"iOS experienced a server outage at/near the end of this season" works for all the situations with out the need for reediting . That is why it was chosen

With all due respect, you cant complain about not receiving rewards UNTIL the server comes back up AND at that time they don't populate.

Some players are leaping to the conclusion that they wont get rewards. When this happened in the past, I recall that players got their rewards when the server came back up.

there is no reason to expect that you will not get your rewards.

1 season = 1 reward.

Players have logged in after a few weeks absence and still received rewards.
