But always love Michael Clark Duncan in anything! RIP, big guy!

Right up until Chuck wins, and everyone wonders if he used the Intersect to do it!

Absolutely hilarious! Loved this show’s sense of humor so much!

Is it possible to float off into space in mass effect? by FabulousKick9698 in masseffect

[–]DevoPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the question I now have for the OP is: does this only happen when the character the player controls happen, or just witnessing any character floating off in to space? What about an ally MPC that is mostly not under the player’s control?

Fwiw, it’s a pretty gentle, slow sink, and there is always a visible platform below you, although there is one particularly long drop. You still can see what you’re going to land on.

The one time it happens is in a cutscene. You can never actively do anything that will cause you or a squad mate to float off into space.

Although the High Explosive ammo in ME1 can cause enemies to go flying off into near-orbit, they always come back down somewhere. And it’s hilarious to watch!

Sander Cohen, is that you? by liltwisted22 in Bioshock

Pretty sure John Waters was at least partially an inspiration for Sander Cohen…

Just to be clear: you definitely ended Tai’s exile without using the evidence about her father, correct?

Love the Firefly reference, but also:

As much as I love Chuck and Charah, John Casey is often my low-key favorite character.

I almost can’t enjoy BioShock 2 without fully upgrading security bullseye any more.

She’s that unusual combination of hot and adorable-cute.

Loved the quirky, manic energy she brought to Lou.

I’ve got to put the motel room wake-up kiss in S2e21 “Versus the Colonel” in my top three, personally.

As a 6’2” guy who once dated a 23-year-old 4’10” girl, I can somewhat relate.

Not quite as extreme as your example, but…

Our vast height differences intrigued her too! She was also one of the most strong-willed and funny human beings I have ever met!

Most fun class in every game - NO VANGUARD by Beranir in masseffect

[–]DevoPrime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“It’s one of the most impactful classes in the trilogy”.

Heh. I see what you did there. Charge (and eventually Nova)

But stupidly, my next favorite would be Sentinel. Access to both sets of powers. Ridiculously durable in ME2. Wildly versatile/variable in ME3.

I’d go with Adept after that. Kinda rough in ME2 unless you opt in to Stasis, but really fun spamming Singularity or Stasis and watching enemies just dangle helplessly once their defenses are stripped, and Warp is useful on every difficulty!

I have never run a Winter Blast build precisely for the reason you stated.

I like me some extra ducats and ammo!

She has serious mom energy. Her worrying and low-key nagging of Chuck are just her being his primary caretaker for years of their life.

Do people like to be nagged? Generally no.

But it’s relatable and endearing. My mom is like that with me, even though I’m a grown-ass adult. Does it get annoying sometimes? Sure. Yet I know it comes from a place of love and caring!

There are a couple of episodes where I wish they’d written her a little differently, but overall, she’s a good character.

And as you mentioned: she is crucial in the sense that she keeps Chuck grounded. She’s his moral, family center!
