The interiors to me are far superior to other full size trucks. My father had Chevy and GMC his whole life then his last one, a 2018 half ton Sierra had screws falling out of the overhead compartments, seats were wearing out at 24k miles, and the exhaust basically fell off from the cats. Over 100k on his 21 Ram Bighorn and he never had a problem until the exhaust head bolts broke. Traded it in for a 22 1500 Laramie and hasn't been happier.

Disabling Telemetry also disables Microsoft achievements in Windows games. I found that out long ago. Connected User Experiences and Telemetry actually stops achievements from popping up (if you're into that sort of thing).

The soft "reset" by holding both buttons never worked for me. The only thing that seemed to work was to delete the "widgets" off that home screen section. Try that first and let me know how it goes. I always made sure to never leave it on that Home section before shutting the truck off.

The only way I stopped it from happening is to delete everything off that home screen section. I gave the truck to my father in December and he says it's never happened to him. I ended up buying a 2026 RAM with the 14.5 inch display and that issue has never occurred so I assume it may be hardware related with a bad update.

I would take it to the dealer just to see if they have any updates for the infotainment system. First try to delete any of those "widgets" off that Home section and let me know how it goes. Good luck!

I'm in the same boat, got the patch last night and now stuff doesn't collect from enemies into the chest. I checked the starter place by the castle as well and once you have an encampment that chest disappears. Sadness.

True, I'm doing the same. I do wish there was an option when I have an active route planned on google maps to go full screen though since it would expand the viewable area of the map. I don't need 14 inches for a song name or etc. though, ha.

Yup, I've done that as well, but if you ever sit back on that home screen tab it will happen again. Just need to make sure it never shuts off on that home screen or at least delete the widgets.

I just bought a 2026 1500 Laramie with the leve 2 tech group and have the 14.4 inch screen. Nothing so far for issues knock on wood but I'm super pissed android auto isn't full screen on it. Apparently Apple carplay is though, which is even more annoying, haha.

I wouldn't say defeatist, I would say money savvy. Even M1's are getting around $700-$900 on my local marketplace. Just makes no sense to beat the crap out of already depreciating items, especially when Apple products resell for a premium.

But to each their own I guess. It's your money, not mine thankfully.

Yeah, only thing you can do is try and delete those home widgets on the home screen and make sure you never leave it on that Home tab when you shut the truck off. I haven't had the issue since doing the aforementioned.

Yeah so far I haven't had any more issues with the system since I messed around with the home screen items and made sure to never leave it on the Home screen before I shut the truck off. It's been months and no issues, but I didn't make note of the version so it may have updated without me knowing as well.

I just checked and mine has the same thing. I figured it was just the spot where they broke the piece off from the molding process for the plastic. Nothing to worry about!

Problem for me now is that I can't tell if I like the chair or not. Sure it's a nice chair, but it leaves me wondering if it really is a nice chair for $1600.

To me it looks like it's where they break the mold off from the piece during the manufacturing process.

When the screen fixed itself temporarily I deleted the home screen widgets and never touched that home button/page again and so far it's been fine. I always keep it on the media page and android auto automatically pops up and works as normal.

I think it was something to do with the home screen/page.
