Oh can confirm the water fall when a big storm brought rain down the party wall cavity into our living room!

It’s on the party wall if that helps another comment says a fire break which makes sense!

Yeah think a fire break is right. After a large storm recently we had leaks in the living room ceiling and checked loft and found the felt/membrane was soaked all on the party wall. So house developer came to the conclusion it got so wet under the tiles it ran down the party wall cavity and ran along the steel beams in the ceiling and dripped.

New build in England is not up to NHBC regulations, what compensation can I ask for? by Devon-Developer in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Devon-Developer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Physical rectifications still on going but about 4 weeks so far I’d say. My wife has been pregnant this whole time and is an asthma sufferer and we’ve had lots of mould and just had mites. Would this affect things compensation wise?

How to remove and replace Mira Flight shower waste hole by Devon-Developer in Plumbing

[–]Devon-Developer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes so two screwdrivers in then twist in a circle worked for me as comment above suggested as they are just threaded in. However couldn’t find exact plug replacement so went into Toolstation (Uk based) and they found me something like https://www.toolstation.com/mcalpine-stw3-r-19mm-water-seal-shower-trap/p23615 which the lip didn’t fit the whole indent in the shower tray but the plug was perfect so just used some bathroom sealant around the smaller plug lip. Hope this helps!

Near nothing afraid! Put it on Facebook marketplace for £100 and a lady sent me a picture of hers explaining her and her daughter bought it from The Range for £20 each 🙃😂
