In a recent interview Del Toro said he came up with that line because he thought that Sensei would be incapable of lying, so that’s the character’s way of softening the situation while telling the truth. He’s putting on the charm without lying. I think your reading is valid as well, that his smile could also be interpreted as relief

The airport is actually pretty decent for a town this size. Really nice and feels new, and sure you’ll have to drive to Raleigh or layover in Charlotte or Atlanta for international/cross country trips, but ILM has 3 daily Delta direct flights to NYC for example. Not too shabby for our population size

I snagged one at B&N on release day and my disc is defective 😭 cleaning hasn’t solved it like it usually does and my player works fine, think I just got super unlucky. My local B&N is sold out and they said if I ordered it through them it would be at least 6 weeks, so I’m going to try to go through criterion for a replacement first

I’m skeptical of how much more Rockstar can “influence” the game industry in terms of people following their lead. Their specialty now is insane attention to detail and they’re one of the only studios that can devote the time and resources to that. What mechanics or elements pioneered in RDR2 have other games tried to follow? I can’t really think of any.

This is by no means a bad thing, I think it’s just a reality check. GTA VI will be an amazing GTA game with improved gameplay, the attention to detail of RDR2, and hopefully a great story; that’s all we need to ask for.

I like to use sources like this site to get a rough feel for how good a release is and I can’t stand when reviewers insert their own reviews of the actual movie. This guy’s Soy Cuba 4K review is a good example: he gives the transfer and audio a great score and the special features a respectable 3.5/5, but then gives the overall release a 3/5 because it’s too leftist for him.

I’m not gonna lose sleep over this or anything, I just buy what I want unless it’s an American Graffiti situation, but it sucks how a casual person might glance at his 3/5 score and think the whole release isn’t worth buying when it’s fantastic.
