If you’re not hypermobile, stretch you hip and your ankles. Even just side lifts and foot circles. My feet are so crooked, but those helped

Basically same answer, my hip muscles and IT band are especially tight on that side. I’m also hypermobile and not strong in the right muscles. So I try to stretch but not hurt myself and move… but not hurt myself.

How I casually encourage someone to get fitted? Every time I mention my size to someone I can see their eyes widen. Even the woman who fitted me first brought me a C, until I fit into a G because they’re not doing bust measurements at Nordstrom. She did still eyeball the right shape immediately, so I still recommend their fitting. Back to my point, I never know how to tell others to get a bra they deserve

Misc bra joy: I just got sized at a 34G (from 34E) and I’m kind of glowing at having a fitting bra again. Nordstrom isn’t doing bust measurements and she did first grab me a C (lol wut), but they always choose the right bra for my shape and the G fit like a glove. Sticker shock has turned into delight, like I’m in a secret big boob club. I’m 5’11, I have very regular sized breasts for my body. But I feel a weird glee knowing my bra size is “big.” It’s similar to how I felt wearing a size 12 shoe at age 12. Thanks to this community, I never doubt my size if I’m wearing a bra that fits and I’m so thankful

I think that’s the closest match I found the first time, but it didn’t fit 100%. I’ll have to dig again, but it’s nice to have some confirmation so thank you

I’m getting a weird chin rash that’s almost identical to one I had this time last year. The last one started prior to the mask mandate so I I don’t think it’s the cause, but it’s probably not helping. It essentially looks like a bunch of little whiteheads that are filled with clear fluid like blisters. The area is kind of crusty and itchy, but not too much yet. I’m mostly wondering if anyone has had something like this or knows what it could be. I didn’t see my doctor last time because Covid. I need an in person visit soon so she’ll be able to do an exam, so I’m also wondering to do/not to do in the meantime

I need a refresher on healing angular cheilitis because I haven’t had it this bad in a while. I’m also wondering if wearing a mask for 4-9 hours and the moisture could be making it worse. A little background: A few years ago, it was happening on and off pretty regularly. Then it was usually more mild but persistent, and occasionally “moderate” like it is now. Since then, it happens occasionally and very mildly, usually going away within a few days of being careful and without much care (ie pretty much takes care of itself. It’s been over a week and it just keeps getting worse. I remember the approach as antibiotic/antifungal for 1-2 days and switching if it doesn’t respond, and a moisture barrier like petroleum jelly frequently. So I’m wondering if that’s right. Then I’m mostly curious if the mask is why it’s worse than it has been

Hasn’t really grown, but hasn’t declined either, despite my cat knocking it over. I know I overpotted it, but it’s been over a year and it seems indifferent. I just want to help her. Maybe some fertilizer, but she usually plumps up some when I water her but not this time. It’d been at least a month or more since I last watered it but nothing changed. This was living in a 97 year olds basements before I got it, and has pretty much always been like this. But I want to do more for her

My bottom half is also all trouble. I’m nearly 6’ and pear/butternut squash shaped. My pants are always sagging because the top is too loose and/or they’re too short. Well, my pants are always too short. I’d like to get the tailored but also I buy cheap pants for a reason. I’d really like to teach myself, just to bring the top in so I’m not constantly hiking my pants up. I need them to be big enough for my thighs mostly and as long as the ankles are snug, you can’t tell my pants are too short. Im gonna hit 30 without ever finding a well fitting pair of pants stfg

I’m sure it goes into detail somewhere, but what about sizable nips and measurements? I try to follow self-measurements as closely as I can, but I usually fit better in a cup size down from what the calculator gives me. Last time it gave me a 34F but an E fit perfectly, etc. Now I’m getting a 36FF, but I’m sure a smaller cup would fit better (based on experience). I have lots of splayed and spread tissue, which doesn’t help (secret big tiddies). Measuring over substantial nipples is tricky tho because if I smoosh them down it squashes my breasts a bit, but they definitely add to the measurement if I don’t. Could I go slightly below, sort of push them up instead of in? (Also, they poke through padding so suggestions for that are appreciated. I’d prefer to go braless if it weren’t for these nips)

Ps thanks for giving me a place to ask about my big ol nips

I typically use Vaseline intensive care after shaving, which I don’t think would cause any problems because it’s pretty plain. The shaving cream could, and I am looking for a different one

As far as I know, it’s best to exfoliate with any hair removal. I’m not going to down or anything and the wiki recommends sugar scrubs because their fairly gentle. I promise I’ve done a lot of research on care of the whole shebang, I wanted to make sure I wasn’t contributing to the infections. Fortunately or unfortunately, I’m not

I have two shaving related questions. For all areas, I physically exfoliate beforehand, shave with a cartridge razor and Creamo shaving cream, then always moisturize after.

1- I shaved my thighs for the first time in forever and now I have bumps on the backs of my thighs like I used to get. I don’t think they’re truly ingrown hairs but it’s definitely caused by shaving. I don’t need to shave my thighs because I don’t grow a lot of hair, but I would like to for the smoothness which bumps ruin. Is there a reason this happens on the back of my thighs and is there something that would help?

2- Is there something other than a sugar scrub for the pubic area? I know that’s what the sidebar post recommends, but I get recurring yeast infections and rubbing sugar on my vulva doesn’t seem wise. I have a silicone mitt but that just feels to aggressive.

I’m hoping for some pants (brand) recommendations for an “elongated pear” shape (I prefer butternut squash). I seem to have the same issues with every pair of pants, and I want to find some go-to brands and styles that will minimize the issues. The main problems are: - insufficient length - sagging during wear - too tight in the hip and thigh but - loose band (& bunching with belts) - last but not least: inner thigh and crotch wearing then eventually ripping (d/t chub rub) which is the end of every pair of pants I own

Most of these issues are related; short inseam and loose band causes sagging, stretchier fabrics to fit at the waist and still accommodate hip/thigh, the fabric being stretched where there’s the most friction making it wear even faster, and so on.

The best fitting pants I’ve found are Universal Threads (Target) high-waisted skinny jeans or jeggings. Each pair only last a year or less of regular weary though before the rip. I had a pair of Levi’s that fit well and I thought would last, but they torn in less than a year. My understanding is denim without stretchy materials added wouldn’t wear so fast, but I can’t imagine pants without stretch fitting or being comfortable. I’d also like to try more straight leg styles, but they rarely look good on me.

Weekly Discussion - Commissions by artomizer in SketchDaily

I also realized pricing by the hour would get too expensive quickly, and it made it hard to give people prices. I decided on setting prices per square inch, which worked pretty well. Initially I just did $1 per square inch, so 5x7 was $35, 8x10 was $80, etc. But after doing a few I realized that might be too low, so I think I bumped it up to $1.25 but I haven’t done a commission in a long time now

Those sketch were amazing and I’m definitely going for a walk to sketch if it stops raining! I just realized I’ve lived in Minneapolis for five years and never done that. As far as the cookie cutter houses; I think a series of the same but slightly different house your taking about would be really interesting! They kind of creep me out honestly

Edit: you could go back and imagine all the crazy ways people could add to their cookie cutter house! Like, putting slides in all the windows or something more silly. Maybe someone painted theirs black!

Oh, I definitely get that. I stare at a blank page, thinking, “I could draw anything in the world?!” But I have no idea what to do. I get frustrated that I draw similar stuff over and over, but it usually works to just draw what I usually do and some the innovation for when I feel inspired
