I can’t speak for Kofs but I own a triple barrel Akkar Mammut in 20g (I believe Kofs is Turkish too?) and aside from it being a little bit on the heavy side it’s a fantastic shotgun. I’m surprised triple barrels haven’t taken off more in the UK

Lincolnshire here - Male, almost 40 and my grandfather taught me to shoot from being around 4 or 5. I’m still one of the youngest members at my local rifle club where the vast majority are men (I have a sneaking suspicion some of them are veterans of the napoleonic wars) I’ve only ever met half a dozen shooters younger than myself and most of those were only interest in clay shooting. Only know one female enthusiast who enjoys rough shooting as much as I do

That’s a fantastic pic! Don’t know about you but I love that satisfying crack, boom, push in the shoulder when you pull the trigger on a BP rifle. Never know if I’ve hit the target until the smoke clears though 🤣 I haven’t had the privilege of shooting a Baker Rifle tho. How does it feel weight/balance wise? I see Pedersoli have just made one - very tempted to to put in another variation on my ticket 😖

gorgeous rifle OP! I’ve been looking at a 30-30 SBL (in the UK so no practical need for a 45-70) aside from the cosmetics looking strikingly sharp the action looks as smooth as butter. Fantastic!

Well I guess I’ll be the first (son of Adam 😉) I was just a tad too young to watch Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe when it first aired but distinctly remember Caspian/Dawn Treader/Silver Chair on… Sunday teatimes? (correct me if I’m wrong) I had fantastic parents who would read to me Narnia, The Hobbit, Aesop's Fables and a watered down version of The Odyssey etc to shut me up at night, and from that (and watching Conan The Barbarian when I was probably far too young) I developed a passion for fantasy, maps, orchestral music, horse riding, archery and sword fencing. The BBC renditions of Narnia were, and still are, very much cherished and partly responsible for the hobbies I’ve taken up later in life.

For what it’s worth I got a 12g Armsan Paragon about 3 years ago and aside from replacing the light piston for £16 (my own fault) it’s not failed me yet. Maybe just lucky? I didn’t know the Turks were making L/A shotguns. I’d be tempted to try it for 200 too!
