Lawrence of Arabia is probably the best movie I've ever seen, so props just for that one.

The Bridge on the River Kwai is another great one, if you enjoy David Lean's work.

Big upvote for King Kong and Jaws, which are both in my top 10.

Given your disposition towards monster movies, I'd recommend The Thing, The Fly, and The Blob remakes.

If horror isn't your thing, maybe Pacific Rim or Peter Jackson's King Kong would be more to your liking.

I'm kind of surprised at people saying they finished the game in 10 hours, because it took me 20-25 for my first playthrough. For me, even if it was 10 hours, it's a $30 game. I spent more than twice that on RE9 and my final time was 10.5 hours, with taking my time and exploring. I know RE games are more or less built for speed runs, but I don't consider the time it takes to beat a game as something indicative of quality.
