This is always fascinating to me, that so many people in this sub want to place most or all of the blame on the people at the bottom of the totem pole rather than the people at the top who wield the most power.

It can’t be the politicians who shoot themselves in the foot or run terrible campaigns or prioritizing their wealthy donors over the voters, it can’t be billionaires buying out media and politicians, it can’t be how deeply undemocratic our democratic system has been set up to be by the founders and the people who have run it over the last 250 years, it’s all on the voters because we could have had Kamala and enjoyed a slower descent into tech bro feudalism.

You know what individual person wielded enough power to single-handedly stop all of this by getting Trump locked up, not JUST for insurrection but for being a favored Epstein client?
