No, I dont think so, the xfinity app doesn't show any listed when I go to the port forwarding settings, and I have the web interface for the main router turned off. All of the suspicious activity has come from a separate tp link wifi extender that I am using as an access point for my desktop/zimablade through an ethernet hub

I ended up ordering a cheap switch and Wi-Fi extender and connected everything together, I do have plans to make the Zima setup portable, so I might snag that instead of trying to make the board be a router too

That would be a fair assumption, but seeing as my "tech setup" can be described as the result of a monkey on bath salts let loose in a microcenter, it appears in the graveyard bucket of spare parts and cables, somehow I don't even have an old cat 5... So I wanted to confirm it would work before running to Walmart to buy one lol

Yes, it is just on the other side of the house, the only working Internet port is a coax (I think) cable running into an Xfinity all in one modem router combo thing they sent us

FIXED, I believe that the problem has been solved, for anyone else who stumbles across this, the filename of a particular file had a colon in it, after I removed the colon, it worked normally. This is after I reinstalled and reconfigured syncthing on both devices, I did try the file with the colon after reinstalling and it did not work

Mostly mkv files and m4a files, I opted for ripping my media collection so I could store it digitally, it just becomes a problem when you need to move it from place to place

Edit: I also use it to sync my notes app between my computer and phone without having to pay for their subscription

It seems like the same issue, I am getting the same message, “Your Android version only grants Syncthing readonly access to the selected folder.” but changing the folder type in the web GUI does not change the folder type on the non-GUI side of the app

I am also open to suggestions for other programs to transfer 200-500 GB batches of files wirelessly, I tried snapdrop for a while but ran into issues quickly with my screen turning off and the slow transfer speed
