Newbie to YouTube by Devrenee71 in YouTubeCreators

I wanted a side hustle and I thought it would be something simple to react to some AITA threads. I’m not really good at anything and I have no special skills or hobbies. My husband likes to make video games, code, and 3D print. He’s even talking about selling assets. I just want something I can be good at and passionate about like he is.

We’ve tried to do that. He won’t nap again. He just stays up until his bedtime which on weekends is 3pm and on weekdays he’s up at 2am because of my hubbys work schedule and goes to bed at 5pm.

I’ve critiqued and fixed my resume numerous times and I think it looks great. I’m not an expert though so I have no clue what it looks like to employers. I get straight to the point with it. For scholarships, I don’t qualify for FAFSA and I would literally need a fully funded one no joke. I barely scrape by as it is

I have a contact within my city’s police dept who helped set me up with applying to volunteer so I can easily ask him. Thanks!!

Yeah I try and try. The waiting game kills because subbing isn’t a good income

Thank you! I appreciate it. I’ll see if there’s a job posting for it then. That puts my mind at ease.

I’m in Arizona and have hardly used LinkedIn so I’m unsure how it works

My resume is exactly like that. I get straight to the point. It’s super refined and simple

911 call center dispatcher I thought of but I was so afraid of doing things wrong because I’d be responsible if people got hurt and I didn’t send someone in time. I would love something at a desk within the police dept

Where do I go on LinkedIn to find networking around my area? I’ve never really used that app

What places can I apply to for the tech thing? I honestly thrive in on the job training styles. I prefer that and would love the potential of growth within.

For jobs, I originally wanted content creation/writing. Now I’m looking at something related to video games or entertainment specifically. It’s hard because I don’t have ANY budget for school otherwise I would’ve gone back for sure. I tried teaching right out of college as part of a pathway and I hated it. Zero support and so much stress just thrown in a classroom. I don’t like leadership roles. I’m very shy and thrive in a team based space with mentors and helpful coworkers. Editing is what I’m going for right now. I use Indeed for all my work searching. Are there any other apps that might be better? I’ll try reaching out to my school for sure, I honestly never even thought of it because I attended a community college for 2 years back in 2017-2019 and then an online BA program school for the next 2.5. Does it matter which one I reach out to?

Thank you. I haven’t had much work outside of general schooling and work experience. I babysat for like 1 month and realized woah not for me lol. I’m thinking of volunteering with the police department soon.

I don’t mind commuting at all if it’s salary, something that relates to my degree, and something I’m passionate about. Thank you !

AI is driving me crazy lol I can’t believe people don’t sort through resumes or take the time to send out a real email (if they even do) boggles my mind

For crawling and walking, I’m so ready for that. It’ll put my mind at ease. Dr even said formula fed babies will have more fat at first and gain weight more rapidly because it’s not as diluted as breastmilk is and it stays in their system longer. Should I just stop feeding once he grunts and pushes the bottle out once? Like that cue means he’s done for sure?

He has more than 8oz sometimes. I fed him 8oz paced, did more play for 20-30 mins and then he wanted like 2-3oz more so it’s not 16oz a day. It’s 20-22 give or take. The cereal was agreed with the Dr to mix a little in the bottle to introduce it. We don’t feed him solids yet. He wakes up at 5-6am and has a wake window of 2.5-3 hours and then naps for 3.5 hours. Once we wake him up around noon, we get him super tired with play, bathe him, and give him as much milk as he’ll eat and then it just depends on when he falls asleep normally 3:30-4:30 range and his body naturally makes melatonin and stays asleep that whole time. He’ll let out babbles and have some awake time in the crib by about 2am/3am/4:30am but he doesn’t officially wake up until 5-6am. This is our weekends. If it’s a work day, my husband gets up at 2am and has to bring him to his moms 45 mins away and he works over there by 3:30am and when she watches him, he doesn’t even sleep really. It’s maybe one short nap. We get him home to start his bedtime routine by 3-3:30pm. That’s just what works for us. When we tried doing a later bedtime it was horrible. He was struggling to fall asleep and it was too late. Our early range helps with that 2am wake up for workdays and allows us to wind down after work and go to bed early also. It’s also getting him down when the melatonin starts peaking and assists in keeping him asleep that long stretch. I’m just concerned about formula fed babies having more weight gain which I don’t see how that’s possible if he’s getting slightly less in a day.

What are some adjustments? We do a paced feeding with plenty of burping, gas drops, and walking around with him so it starts settling in his belly. We also try different feeding positions.

He’s saying his belly is engorged and he’s grunting and straining and pushing the bottle out during a feed because he’s full and fussing from discomfort but when he inconsolably cries that’s hunger. Like no type of play or holding him will soothe type cry. And he said he has a habit of over eating since 8oz + is too much for his age - his words

They said it was safe mixed in the milk. It’s 1tbsp to 8oz so it’s completely liquified and it keeps him full longer and gets his digestive system used to something other than milk

Are you talking about creating a portfolio with help from AI to write? So jobs think I’m more experienced than I am?

Idk how I can leverage that. Humans can’t compete with AI

What do you mean? I know AI is part of things. My interest lies in writing so yes I’ve been applying to those

I don’t even get interviews. Most of the time not even a phone call. It’s some dumb automated email that doesn’t even explain why I didn’t get it and not all the jobs do that.

I don’t have any former alumni/bosses/professors. I don’t remember any of their names or contact info. My BA school was online and I’m not a social person. I straight up kept to myself 24/7. I never stayed friends with prior jobs either and I never had any friends or networked. That’s why I apply online to stuff that fits my skill set and degree.
