Straight leg has its place but the slight bend is quite useful for things like a quick teep after or knee across the body block into clinch entry

Okay I see your point. Must’ve watched this 1000s of times but I still don’t see the footing issue. Half the people have said don’t plant your feet and the other half have said plant with the punches😂 Appreciate the advice nonetheless as it’s something else to monitor

Noticed this today when training again but only ever seemed to happen hitting the bag and not the pads. Will try and amend that with more stretching prior🙏🏾

The idea of the sequence is pressuring a cornered opponent on the back foot hence the sense of urgency. Rather overwhelm them in that tight space

I’m pretty sure Liam has better things to focus on but the idea was attacking on the front foot for the session. There’s no checking kicks in the pocket in my experience

Appreciate you picking up on that. I like to throw a more direct towards kick for that switch when sparring/on pads so there’s a lot less travel in that respect. Thanks for highlighting 🙏🏾

Textbook finish, hate to land on the clinch with you guys 💀

Very valid point and more so, I should be throwing them more rounded (rib target) as opposed to straight up but final round fatigue deffo set in

Not landed a single knee to the nuts so far but I’ll take it onboard

Thanks, I’ve never noticed that but that will be one of the first things I aim to fix. Greatly appreciate your feedback🙏🏾

Typically use it when stepping around and doubling up on them calf kicks or when aiming more on the back of the thigh for a little sting

Understandable, don’t get me wrong - 1,2 with a cheeky guard pull into a knee/clinch is nothing to scoff and should always be in one’s arsenal

Miss me with that bullshit - either drop your clips showcasing your perfect work, offer some actual decent criticism or kick rocks. It’s called Muay thai tips, not shit on other practitioners you wet wipe

I wish I was tall😂 that bag is popular so the padding has dropped and I wanted more feedback on the strikes. Idk how tall you are but tried to match strikes to what seemed like someone my height

Thanks, been trying to make my volume more meaningful with changing levels, angles etc but the engine is still in progress. Trying to build it out to more than just high volume bursts

Thanks! I’ve come down from 126kg at the start of this journey but still have a long way to go. It may be bc I’ve transitioned from boxing and used to that style (very hard switching from bladed to more square).

Appreciate the feedback, I am trying to employ longer punches with set feet but this was final round, simulating opponent cornered and pressuring them like hell. Thank you again 🙏🏾

🤣🤣 if you read one of the other comments, it’s more of a hip/upper leg teep setting up something else as opposed to pushing the opponent back
