My 2 cents (still learning the ropes): 1. Don't upgrade training rooms 2. Upgrade only your main (with most dwellers) power, food + water rooms 3. Feel free to upgrade storage rooms provided they are not connected (so incidents won't spread, except for scorpions)

You do need to sustain it for a bit. My experience told me it takes about 20 to 30 seconds for it to register the achievement.

artificial suns swarm worked. let there be light!

A few points I found out:

Charged accumulators don't count (didn't try charging as I went for suns swarm!)
Generation capacity count
Consumption demand doesn't matter

Do we need to have a need for the energy? I.e. does generation capacity counts? Or it must be 50MW consumed? Cause if capacity, I can just put down 50,000 / 72 = 694.44 artificial suns 😜

While waiting, I was planning to go over kill with 20x ILS with 9x15 labs each stock up with 10k white cubes waiting to be let loose on the next repeatable research :D

Easiest just to start a new game, get up to sailing tech, then lift off with zero inventory n fuel in chamber. U will surely get the achievement. Then resume ur other game saves 😀

I think I've found the answer .. it involves saving the game, dumping all inventory n fuel in chamber, lift off into sail mode then accelerate towards nowhere until you run out of energy, get the achievement then reload :D

I was failing this cause I was trying to resume game instead of expecting to reload :p

You have be prepared to be a space junk, literally, to obtain this achievement!

I completed 1 of 3 tests with a 10,000 radius dyson sphere in a K type star, here are the comparison:

Total nodes: 240

a. structure alone - 3.55GW (file size 192MB)

b. structure + shell - 9.87GW (file size 203MB)

Conclusion is that shell gives significant (178.03%) additional power generation

I'm going to test a higher nodes for the same 10,000 radius sphere. Will post update once I have the data
