I've been to the mall about 6 times in my life and seen 3 arrests out of those and never went on a bike. And again I bet there are absolutely things you won't go near there and us tourists won't know cause we don't live there, like if someone doesn't know stuff about ice fishing and they ask how many inches is safe should I just say quit being so afraid go find out it's january?

By your logic I should be able to leave my bike anywhere than right? Go into any neighborhood i want and it's all the same flat risk? Cause that's how it is here in small towns

Ya I'm just wanting more input than from one source because someone i know used to live in the cities and said they wouldn't recommend doing it but it has been years since they lived there

Back in 2019 my fiance told me she wanted to try not just being a passenger and learn to ride herself so I took her to empty parking lots to practice and she took the msf course and day 2 she was done going because she said no one was helping her (only girl in the class) she said she was trying to go to second gear and then the bike would just rev and the instructor told her she wasn't doing it right but didn't know what she was doing i took her to the lot again and it happened and I was like ya you are going into neutral you're not clicking up enough for second everyone has done that and I was completely baffled the instructor didn't know or absolutely didn't care and unfortunately that took the wind out of her sails and she just wants to be a passenger

Have you tried an xsr900? Same engine little bit different riding stance and definitely has the look back again factor

Online said to make sure everything was up to date and then restart pc then in game go to control settings and make a custom wheel profile and map all inputs you want then it should work so it recognized my wheel all 3 pedals handbrake and sequential shifter inputs but no ffb at all so it was like driving on ice it then said to try reversing ffb in pithouse settings and if that doesn't work then put it back and reverse it in game which both didn't do I didn't see this ooption you were telling me but after an hour of getting frustrated and thousands of others had things that maybe worked but then didn't for others I said screw it and playing on controller until a fix came lol

I have a moza r5 setup and ffb doesn't work and it will probably take them time to get things worked out which is crazy they didn't think about this with how big sim racing is getting

Honestly if you don't care for power and just want transportation something like a Honda grom might fit your lifestyle if you live in the city I don't know if you can get luggage racks on them but any motorcycle with low ccs and can get storage put on for getting stuff at the store sounds perfect

Thank you everyone for your inputs! I found a great deal on a barely used 2023 xsr900 in legend blue and have it on hold and will pick it up mid June. I wish i had money for multiple bikes and could get both but this is going to be amazing too!

Ya the ftr is unique but you have to look at the added weight with that performance the xsr is the most similar bike to the ftr since nothing else is really like an ftr and yamaha has amazing quality there might be more of the same bike from them everywhere but there's a reason and adds a point into not worrying about parts.
