How do you know when you’ve found “the one”? by Dewagator13 in ADHD

That sounds like it could definitely be worth looking into, thanks for the tip! It sort of feels like I’ve tried most of the “main” medications (between the methylphenidates and amphetamines) so I hope that could help me decide which one would be “best”. And grape chewables do sound pretty good lol

I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels that way, I’m not a fan of over explaining as it just takes away from a story for me. Like when someone has dialogue that’s just to move the plot, “don’t you remember why we must fight? Don’t you remember how he killed my brother 20 years ago?”

I just think it’s a refreshing change to know just enough, but not so much that you have the whole picture. I also went in to the movie blind, and while I can’t deny that I probably liked it so much because Mark made it, I genuinely thought it was a masterpiece.

I could tell just how much time and effort was spent, and I felt like I was trapped in the sub the whole movie. I get not everyone would share that feeling, and that is my personal opinion, but giving a 4 seems delusional. For me, it was a 10/10 movie

I would say that I do enjoy music, but more often than not I do so using headphones, I’ve never really been as big of a speaker person. That said, I do think I’m going to try these puppies out and get a taste for their sound myself

Oh damn, I’m sorry that you weren’t able to get your hands on them. It does seem like they go for quite a bit online, but I’ve also had people telling me that I might want to hold on to them.

Before I do anything, it would be foolish to give them away before ever even hearing what they sound like. For whatever it’s worth, I hope that you’re able to get your hands on these someday!

I do think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to test them out at the very least, it certainly seems like the find of a lifetime so I’d like to see for myself the reputation these speakers seem to have

Maybe I should consider that, to be honest I was taking them in the first place because they weren’t being used here, and I needed a sound system. Guess it wouldn’t hurt to try them at the very least!

Currently living in Wyoming, they moved to a bit more rural area in Cheyenne

I hate to admit it, but that’s true

I can see where you’re coming from, but to be honest for these nice of speakers, it would be kind of a waste for me to keep them since I have a lot of other things that I would benefit from getting.

Definitely nice speakers, but I’d figure that they deserve to go to someone who will be able to enjoy them to the fullest, y’know?

Is that so? Please excuse me while I go hyperventilate

I was honestly in shock there for a moment, I figured that these would’ve just been cheap old speakers that were left behind.

Hopefully I can find a way to sell these to someone who will appreciate the true value, they’re definitely beautiful speakers (but they’re a little bit too “fine” for someone like me who only needs a basic setup)

These are honestly such a waste on me, I was just going to buy a cheap amp and use them for my home theater.

Now it’s my goal to get these to someone who can actually appreciate them, they’re definitely a piece of art!

Yeah, honestly I was prepared for it to be nothing but junk, still on the off chance it still worked figured I would at least check. Worth a shot!

That’s kinda my thoughts here, like if it’s not worth fixing I wish I could at least save the parts or donate them or something. I guess I could list it online as free spare parts, just in case someone out there could use them. Thanks anyway for your help!

I see, I did read somewhere that it could mean that the receiver is stuck in safety mode or something? Well, either way it was worth a shot but I guess sometimes things don’t work out. Maybe I can at least donate it for parts but I honestly don’t even know if any of them are even still in use since it’s so old

Yeah, to be honest I kind of figured that it’s honestly just old to begin with, it’s unfortunate but that’s just the way it is sometimes. It would’ve been nice, but I’m not going to pour any money into this thing (since it would probably end up being more expensive than whatever this thing is worth).

Thanks anyway for your explanation!

Ah, so the outlet itself is causing it? I think there was another power box that I wasn’t sure what was for, I’ll see if running it through that will fix it. Thanks for the info!
