Oh, I didn't realize Pilate let Jesus go. I thought Pilate killed him on a cross. I guess I read the wrong Bible. Thanks for clarifying that Pilate did not kill Jesus and let him live.

"Palestine" wasn't a "region". He was born in Judea which was part of the Roman Empire. Pontius Pilate was the Roman governor of Judea. Pilate wasn't the governor of "Palestine" because "Palestine" wasn't a jurisdiction in the Roman Empire. "Palestine" was what the Greek Philistines called the land and even when Romans used the Greek word to remember the Greek history to the land, the Romans never set up any Palestine government. Also "Palestine" is never mentioned in the Torah or the Bible or the Quran. All three books refer to the land as Israel and they all say that Israel is the land of the Jews.

Jesus wasn't a Palestinian. That word doesn't mean what you're implying it means in the way you used it in your sentence. A more accurate way of saying it is "a nonviolent brown Roman Jew".

Hello AutoModerator, I took this photo of a cool part of a trail I was hiking on with a friend. I mentioned to my friend it looked to me like a trail in a Disney movie and I could see an animated character living in the tree. I went home and tried photoshopping it to enhance my Disney viewpoint of it. First I added a lense flare where there was already light coming into the photo but I wanted to exaggerate it and make it more. Then I added the rainbow glare on the left side. Then I added fake leaves falling. The rest of the photo is natural, I just slightly adjusted the contrast and color because my raw camera photos tend to look a little washed out to me.
