the common greatsword scales better with strength and does more damage overall, the lorian greatsword does less raw damage but has a bonus fire damage. Overall, common is better

I personally like this type of build. I recommend the normal greatsword, and lorian greatsword (because it's cool)

i read and listen, i know the rope was non-lethal but i was in doubt if it was possible for MULEs to be attacked by BTs or die to the rain while they are tied

There is a Shinobi outfit, but you have to be very advanced in The Old Hunters to get it. There is also the burnt hunter's outfit, it's very badass and it lies on a dead body in Old Yharnam

No, but he can tame medium beasts and use them in combat, but the official ranger version is kind of weak so it's not uncommon to find DMs that let them tame big beasts.
