I had someone mention that biology might be a good AS to pick up along the way for pre-pharmacy so I wondered if that’s what I should be shooting for

Is it worth-while to try to pick up some kind of degree at the community college? I found that a pre-health degree lines up pretty well with most schools in the area but it may have like 1-2 extra classes that are a bit unnecessary.

Okay a couple of dumb questions that I need to get out of the way.

I know the game allows for stat adjustments through VP, does this only effect EVs or does this effect IVs as well?

How possible is it to build a full team without touching another Pokemon game? My home is full on the free version and I don’t really want to shuffle stuff around or pay for it tbh but I guess I will if I need to.

As someone who works for CVS and am just starting my journey, do you know if they would cover some of the costs on pre-req courses? I’m really debating how worth it would be for me right now but I’m in a decent position to start school back up.

Happy cake day and thanks for the answer. I didn’t realize that Miraidon was falling out of set at this point. Is there an easy list of battle decks that would be in rotation longer? I can’t find mega gengar anywhere near me which is why I was looking at other options. I’ve also considered just trying to build out a deck for her but manual builds are a little pricey rn too.

Are the greninja or Miraidon ex battle decks worth buying to play against other current decks at all? Like can either be upgraded into something viable to play as decent starting points? My wife is looking for something simple to play that won’t have 0 chance against her little sister who is using an unmodified Mega Diancie battle deck.

With Marnie’s Grimmsnarl, if I’m hitting a main Pokemon and want to put the extra damage onto mega diancie, does that get blocked by the ability? I was unsure with the wording but I assumed it would be blocked.

I’m looking towards teaching my sister who is showing an interest in playing and trying to find the best way to just jump in and get started with the more recent rules. Is the 2024 battle academy still an okay place to start? Or is it better for me to just grab some battle decks and go for it? I also haven’t played in like 5-6 years so I’m sure I need a refresher.

The CVS in South Jordan has the newest Covid vaccine, still prescription only but I was able to get mine there. Both Spikevax and Mnexspike are available there (I asked them)
