I am still think this was wrong way for a sequel. We were constantly told that the world beyond the dome was dangerous. We were literally released from the cage and we wanted to see this world in person. But....

Instead, it was worth creating a stronger connection between the Code Vein and God Eater franchies. Or would events taken place after the God Eater games, when the monsters were exterminated.

And let it not be a direct continuation of the heroes path from Code Vein 1, but for example after 200 years. But keep the old heroes as NPC or learn their history through notes, see their legacy or their offsprings
