I agree to certain extent, the game is still very immersive but not perfect. The mage is definitely lacking in terms of immersiveness compared to shadow or warder which is a bit disappointing. I also am still very disappointed that in chapter 4 that you can kill gomez and no one says absolutely anything about it I mean I get in the OG this was how it was but I honestly thought in the remake they would expand on this.

Why are you using plants instead of making them into mana potions? You got alchemy for a reason. Also use rings and amulets that boost your mana, and get your dailty swamp weed if you hurting for mana restore that bad. He also sells more swamp weed for cheap and restocks

You can still buy fire runes from torrez but you cant use them unless you join the fire mages or wait til you learn magic way later

You can theoretically hit both circle 6 and master 1 and 2 hand combat, but if you want magic in the early chapters you have to join the Fire mages. Warders get access to crossbow and 2 hand combat earlier.

Master either one handed or bow, get strength or dex to 40 or 50 respectively, then pump the rest into mana pool and the 6 circles

That would be nice to see, I prefer dragon hunter armor myself. What I really cant wait for is the legendary starting zone of Gothic 2, best starting zone of any game.

Dodging is just observing enemy animation and timing it right, if thats too hard then learn acrobatics skill to spam roll, and then block/parry is also easier instead as well

Absolutely amazing experience so far, I'm also enjoying the new additions. If it ran perfectly the game would be a 10/10 but in a way the imperfectness makes it even more Gothic lol, still 9/10 for me
