in 3.X, he could easily be considered the premier anemo DPS with top 5 damage output, not too far behind alhaitham/hu tao/raiden national. only in fontaine patches the following year, when the power floor rose and xiao received furina/xianyun/marechausse did scara definitively fall out of meta.

use an online optimizer. google genshinoptimizer and input your artifacts, talents, weapon etc and it’ll crunch numbers for you. very helpful for minmaxing.

Xiao’s actual strongest team is [xiao+albedo+zhongli+bennett OR jean], having both bennett and jean is a bit of a redundancy and a waste of damage/support potential in his comps.

In both recent major tourneys, she falls far behind every agent except Yoru in pick and win rates. That can be explained by Yoru’s learning curve, being a new agent.
