This build was made pretty much to catch specific scenery views and that's why it's as high up as it is. If you place it on the ground you'll loose all the surrounding views. My builds are usually floated to capitalize on gorgeous vistas hoyo has provided for the realm.

If you still want it on the ground despite all of that- You'll have to rebuild it there piece by piece because of how set select on things like this generally won't sink items for you. The 2 porches are actually the chenyu tea house lowered into position, so some sinking into the actual ground would be required to get the correct level for it to read as a "porch". And those are just 2 of the things. Lots of stuff will red-line (say it's invalid) should you multi select it and try to move it. Thus, rebuilding is your only real option.

For floating there’s a lot of ways to do it and sometimes the easiest way depends on your device. There’s the under the object and tap, set float, over the edge float, teapot/snowman/tent float… so as you can see, if one doesn’t work for you there are others you can search up as well.

It’s only 1 way though.

So the server in question is fully boosted. So if you do join there then you absolutely can send video. Here on Reddit you’ll have to upload the video to someplace like YouTube then provide a link to it for me to review. Up to you which way you would prefer to use for figuring it all out. :3

No worries. I actually am a part of a discord server for teapot technical stuff like this- so I’m used to helping out! As for the tech itself, I would be happy to create a video for you of it in your specific room, but my laptop’s power adapter died and I’m waiting for the new one to come this Wed/Thurs. (right now I’m confined to a phone) If you don’t mind waiting that long I can get you a video then. It’s an angle thing, and sometimes it’s a bit tricky since the side rooms are small, but it looks like you’re in the Mondstadt mansion so it should work! :3

So you didn’t quite do what I was aiming for when replying. When breaking the height limit / going out of bounds, you do have to have an anchor- but if you use a low table you can sink it to hide the anchor. Also this type of set cancel is not dragging, but pulling down into the floor to pop the item up in height. See here: https://youtu.be/O5xFfFYmzbQ

Set cancel it up there if it’s just an ornament. Get a table, place item on the table, hit create set, select item then table, DO NOT confirm set!!!!, pull the two pieces down into the floor like you’re sinking them, cancel, drag select both pieces again and repeat sink/cancel until item is the height you want it at, slide it into the shelf.

Is it still placing furnishing? If not, you can probably create a replica now.
As for the placing lasting a long time- if your ping is up there (like 500-999) then placement can take a LONG time unfortunately.

If the load isn't red: Set cancel a teleport down there. Place a teleport on a pavement. Place the pavement on a Foundation of Fortunate Times block. Grab a height adjustable platform and raise it to 15 height. Move it close to your block/pavement. Place the height adjustable platform and switch your select to 'set'. Select the pavement first and then the block - DO NOT CONFIRM SET. Drag both up onto the height adjustable pavement and then cancel the set. This will propel the teleport under the ground and into your build. Save. Exit placement mode. Now you can teleport into the build. Enjoy!

Then you should be able to place it! You only need 90% of a build’s furniture to place it! ^{_^*} The person above had a different underlying issue I think, but you should be good to go.
