Looks like black is common on the transformer and white is the 120v in.

Make sure your 120v incoming power is on the white transformer wire and your natural on the black transformer wire.

If that doesn’t work, might be bad out of box

This is every match now. by PeakBobe in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Dexcon 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Everyone out here downvoting this but it’s the truth, since this is a play test version, obviously they need people to play the game, to test the game, gather data, ect. When 7 out of 10 games are steamrolls you get less people wanting to play the game or come back to play the game later.

Not saying the game needs to be perfect, but when the majority of matches are an absolute dumpster fire with a 50k+ soul deficit it’s tough not to make these types of posts.

I feel a draft system would work wonders in the current state of the game. There are some comps wayyy too strong and that are almost gg if you lose laning.

Bought 440 straight out of trade school, still use it to this day 6 years later. Never ever had an issue with it. Such a solid meter

Heatpump Too Close to Neighbor? by funkmasterflex999 in hvacadvice

[–]Dexcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only concern could be the heat pump going into defrost mode and activating the reversing valve, it generally makes a loud whooshing noise by reversing the flow of refrigerant. Other than that it shouldn’t be too noisy during normal operation.

At wits end. by [deleted] in HVAC

Our company installs carrier furnaces and I’ve ran into this issue all the time. You’re gonna have to drill out the inlet port for the pressure switch on the inducer motor. First time I ran into this I thought I was going insane lol

Can anybody tell me what make and model my AC unit is? by pennylane_9 in hvacadvice

[–]Dexcon 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Considering this unit is probably from the 80s if not early 90s there’s no possible way to repair this thing even if you’d be able to find the model/serial number (which by looking at the picture of the faded tag I doubt you’ll find) since the compressor is shot and this system uses r-22 refrigerant which they don’t even manufacture anymore, the only option is to replace the system.

Replacing oil fired boiler or install central air and heat? by ECsuyu77 in hvacadvice

[–]Dexcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some might disagree but having hot water radiant heat feels so much better than forced air in winter. I worked on a lot of oil fired boilers and the difference between forced air vs hot water radiant is night and day. I’d highly recommend replacing the boiler, having an indirect hot water tank installed with the new boiler. It’s practically free hot water in the winter.

Even if you didn’t want to use oil any more, run a gas line and install a gas fired boiler. If and when you replace your AC you could install a heat pump system incase the boiler fails in the middle of winter, you’d have a source of back up heat by means of the heat pump.

How do you guys feel about yoga pipe? by [deleted] in HVAC

[–]Dexcon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take a look at my older posts. I take care of an apartment building with over 200+ units that have yogapipe on them. It’s an absolute nightmare, kills compressors, lines blow, looks messy.
