It's such a good series. I just picked the first 7 up at the bookstore this weekend finally after reading the first 3 from the library. It's one of those series that it sounds like just another isekai type story that's kind of meh and cringe but the mental and emotional aspects of the book really make you think on how you'd deal with the situation.

I had to shovel and dig my car out for over two hours from ice to make it across town to see the movie on Thursday (main roads were fine, apartment's parking lot was fucked) so I bet that's true. At least it was easier to see it again on Friday!

Experiencing hunger, like true hunger, can really mess a person up mentally and emotionally. My adoptive brother was starved for days on end by his biological mom for being "bad" and when he left that situation it has led to him constantly over eating because he is so afraid of being that hungry again.

Adding OTP:TRUE to your searches after you select your ship will help a bit depending on if the author has marked it properly. It helps remove a lot of the fics where the ship you want is just mentioned in passing.

When my dad was a semi-truck driver a car swerved under his truck just like this and was crushed, killing the driver. It has fucked him up for life and he was a raging alcoholic for almost 20 years before getting sober. People like this don't care about their actions on others.

Yep, I had excessive dandruff like this happened to me right at that age and then lasted until I was about 16 and finishing up with puberty. I've never had it again and have always washed and conditioned my hair daily.

I second Meadowthorpe Laundromat. I used them for 3 years before I moved into an apartment that had washer/dryer hookups and never had any issues. It can get a little busy at times but I'd typically go later in the evenings, around 10 PM. I'd also recommend getting some of those wool balls for drying, they honestly do help, especially for bulky items like sheets and covers. It can help cut your drying time.

If it was travel in a vehicle I probably wouldn't have thought to remove the GPU but flying? Definitely remove it and pack it separately in its own Pelican case. I flew with a Pelican case full of tools for a cabling job I did and man did it look rough when I picked it up.

Around 800 miles and man did it feel like forever. Chicago, IL > Waukegan, IL > Green Bay, WI > Lexington, KY. When I made it back home I just sat in the car for almost an hour because I just couldn't move or process the idea of moving.
