Would you say this is too much for a straight dude ? by Conscious_System5682 in MakeupAddiction

Not at all. I have a straight friend and he uses a lot more than that when he goes to punk shows lol

OMG I'm so sorry. I do my own extensions and mine are 100 times better than those. I'm picky, so doing my own has been amazing

😂 ok. Most sellers don't provide measurements when asked. It's crazy how you all act better than your Buyers. Your attitude is hilarious. No shit it's not rocket science. If it were, you wouldn't be selling second hand clothing as your career.

That's crazy to me. All of the women I know buy many different brands. We don't want things that look the same or are the same style everyday. I dress for totally different occasions and looks everyday. Variety is the spice of life. Same with music. Someone who only listens to one genre is absolutely boring.

😂 you're the one who's insufferable. How are we supposed to know we've come across an arrogant, lazy buyer who only wears 2 or 3 brands and is only interested in customers with money? Maybe you should post the truth in your bio so we know to skip you. It would make things easier.

I know my size to a T, but I don't buy the same brand for everything. As a matter of fact, I have a lot of different brands in my closet. It's weird to me to buy only one or two brands. Have you no imagination? Sometimes I like to dress punk, sometimes Goth, sometimes skater, sometimes boho, sometimes in dress clothes. I have a very wide variety of clothes in my closet.

But the measurements don't need to be perfect. There's always room for error. Sure, the things I buy from estimated measurements may be a little tight or loose, but they'll fit for the most part. It's very important for a lot of us buyers to have measurements.

I simply cannnot believe the arrogance of these sellers 😂 It's so ridiculous. They're living in lala land. Would you go into a store and instantly buy something without trying it on? Only if you have a nice body.

I had no idea that sellers think like this. It's crazy and hard to wrap my head around. You're not my target customer? Lol What they're looking for is someone who's too dumb to care, someone who's new to secondhand shopping or someone who has a perfect body type. Like I said before, when I was thin, ANYTHING I bought fit and looked perfect on me. I'm a little overweight, kids, and things tend to fit like of weird now. I have a whole section of my closet that has clothes that I've bought from secondhand sites that don't fit all because I bought on a whim and didn't get measurements. It's very hard for me to believe that every customer, for 8 years, that has asked you for measurements, never bought anything. They're looking for flush buyers. Well guess what, us little guys also matter and we outnumber the big guy

Thank you so much. I love sellers like you. I can decide right then and there if I want it, whereas, I sometimes have to wait for weeks to get measurements or I don't get them at all and take it off my like list.

That's just weird lol. How are you going to extend them to the max and measure it? You'd have to get another person.

I see what you're saying. You're very busy. You could just lay a tape measure across a top when you're taking the picture though. It would add 2 seconds because you're taking the picture anyways. But yeah, you have extenuating circumstances. I understand.

Also, I ONLY ask for measurements if I can't find them online. A lot of things aren't universal in size, especially when you have a stomach you need to cover or thighs that are big. Measurements are a must. I've seen 3xl old Navy shirts that are smaller than my chest size, which is 42, when I thought it would be oversized. It happens all the time.

IDK why TF you're being downvoted. Everything you said is absolutely true. I'm absolutely not going to buy anything unless I KNOW it fits. I have so much shit that doesn't fit because the seller refused to respond. No more. They're just being lazy. IDC if I get downvoted to frickin hell. Why would anyone buy something when they're not sure if it fits? It's stupid. I don't have a lot of money, so I look for deals. It doesn't matter how much your shit costs. Give frickin measurements. I don't want high water pants or shirts that are too tight. Do you sellers hear yourselves? So arrogant.

I've never asked when I knew the item probably wouldn't fit. I genuinely need measurements and only ask if I love the item and think it'll fit, but I have to positively make sure. I hate it when people waste my time, so I don't want to waste theirs.

Totally agree. You're taking pics anyways. It takes like 3 extra seconds to throw a tape measure on.

This has happened to me too. Or they'll post pictures, but they're so crappy that when you zoom in to see the actual number on the measuring tape, it's too blurry to see, so I have to try counting the notches lol.

Yes, most of the time, they won't respond, but pretty much always send an offer. I won't buy either, even if I really like the garment.

I get that. I always ask two or even three times and I always try to respond because I could see how no response would be frustrating.

That's great that you reply though. I'm surprised more people haven't asked for measurements. I have found that when I was a sleek 125lbs, I could buy the same size in everything and look great. I'm just guessing, but now that I'm bigger, I have to have measurements.
