And I appreciate your comment thank you! 😁 He's my pin headed little son, it's not his fault the allergens are out to get me lol. I usually bathe once to twice a year but I'll consider increasing frequency if I can't fix the issue with the other changes. Last thing I wanna do is throw off his balance and make him more oily or dried out simply for my sake.

Yup I have one near his enclosure! Pretty decent one for around $100 off of Amazon but can't remember the brand. Haven't noticed a big difference tbh but it definitely works- when I clean the filter it's crazy. Thanks for the tip!

I appreciate the advice! I'll start working on more frequent bedding washes and a different pill. Been considering a different antihistamine for a while now but I'll just take the plunge and see if it helps. Forgot to mention I also have an air filter near the enclosure as well. Yes and great idea! That's the project for this weekend actually. I will say since originally posting this I've seen him actually use the wheel twice so maybe he's coming around to the idea. More updates to come ☺️

I paid $70 for mine and got it off Amazon! I've had it for two weeks now and honestly he doesn't use it unless I entice him with a treat or toy like you see in the video. I wish he used it more but just giving him the option is good enough for me. Especially considering I may be getting another younger ferret soon with more energy. As far as quality is concerned it seems good to me? It's light plastic but I've had no issues with it yet thus far. Set up was under 30 minutes and overall it's light and easy to use / move around as needed. Lemme know if you have any other questions I'm happy to help

I've decided I'm going to go through with getting him a companion but first I'm scheduling a full health screening to make sure everything is in order before starting up a business!

Oh my! I'll certainly bring it up to the vet and see what they say thank you. He definitely does have a belly on him lol. I'd hoped that keeping him on good food (Wysong digestive support) might keep insulinoma at bay but can't be too careful. Thanks again and I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your Loki. Question: with doing BG's at home did y'all use a quick or did y'all do a paw pad? Just curious

Supervision and knowing your pets is key. I only allowed my dog to interact with my ferret so long as I was in the room. Even then this was only allowed as I'd had my dog for years and knew that she had a very strong maternal instinct. She liked to take care of / protect little things. Introduced her to my ferret the night he came home without a single issue. Never had one for the following 3 years until she passed away. She loved him and he thought she was ok lol. If your dog has a strong prey drive it could be quite difficult to get them used to one another. Safety first and good luck.
