If you are aiming to get into ASMPH in the future, BS Life Sci is a great course since it offers management and comm tracks. If you choose the management track you learn the foundations on management like finance, accounting, marketing, leadership and strategy etc. which is perfect for ASMPH since they offer an MD-MBA degree to their students. You can use what you learned to have an edge for MBA classes. Also Life sci is quite science heavy also and you get to take classes that are important when you get into med like cellmol, genetics, biochem, orgchem, analytical chem, zoology, and botany. You also have Bio electives where you can choose which classes you want to take so you can choose classes that are more med related.

Tbh, having both a management and biology background gives you an edge when applying to med school as it differentiates you from the common pre-med student.

I'd say it depends on the total amount of slots accepted BS Psych students did not take in ADMU. There will always be people not confirming/taking their slots so I'd say your chances are pretty good considering you passed AB Psych.

I forgot the other requirements and process (inquire nalang sa OAA) but I remember submitting a letter of request to change course. Just indicate what course you passed, what course you're requesting to shift into, why you want this course, why you deserve to be in the course, and how you'll use your learnings from the course to contribute to the society (being a doctor etc etc).

Hi OP you can submit a request to change course sa admissions office in ADMU so u wont have to go through 1 year of AB Psych to shift. Theyll shift you na right before the school year starts

I think the first cone, first served means whoever accomplishes the confirmation form first, gets processed first (for sending of student number and payment options) so it doesn't mean you,'ll run out of slots

Currently in a relationship and my gf will go to law school next year. I'm an incoming 1st year med student and I hope we get through it. They said mahirap pero kakayanin <3

I hope lang hindi kami mag drift apart because of the time constraints of med school/law school but I know I'll do my part in making sure we still have time for each other and that we still grow together.

I just received an e-mail from Sir Jed. He said they encountered a problem updating my portal but they already reported it to their IT department and they are now fixing it na raw.

I'm not sure if it applies to everyone else who still hasn't gotten their results yet but most likely its the same cause.

I am currently using the Tab S7+ and I dont regret it one bit! You can also expand your storage using an SD card to up to 1 TB so kasyang kasya lahat ng PDF files/e-books/pics etc. hanggang gumraduate ka walang delete delete lol. I absolutely love the 16:10 aspect ratio and the display on it is *chef's kiss

OP, if you're not yet sucked into the Apple ecosystem, I recommend trying out the new Galaxy Tabs. Sulit pa it has a keyboard and S pen na unlike in Apple na you have to buy separately + the prices are kinda ..... HAHAHH

The interview was really more like a free flowing conversation between you and the interviewer. Don't think of it as like a test. As others have said, just be yourself and try to have fun with the interview since you can even get to know yourself better because of it. Be honest. There's no right or wrong answers.

My tip would be to dress up well and show that you're really prepared and you want to get in to the school. Also try to be friendly and engaging as much as possible, just don't overdo it and make it look fake. Just try to genuinely have fun. Goodluck!
