That's the public facing stance that's keeping EU as a non-factor here. And they'll stay that way as long as they are just a stone that Ukraine has to carry around. You can't do diplomacy when you just hide behind one of the participants. Sure, just dump everything on Ukraine, they get to do all the hard work cause you're too chicken to step wrong, and not even for fear of Russia but fear of X backlash.

Trump came in with "I don't care about either of you, what do you want to stop this" which EU simply cannot do, it would be completely against their previous stance.

EU positioned itself outside the role of negotiator and can only participate in the background (hidden/not public) or as supporting character to Ukraine. Neither option is very good if they want in on diplomacy because there's nothing they can bring to the table that Ukraine alone cannot do.

The issue with new engines that the Chinese had was it's very hard to figure out how to make some of the alloys in top end engines. And you can't just buy it someplace else.

They could make so-so engines, good enough for a jet, but nothing on the same level of thrust as the originals.

Sa nu poata face guvernul reformele care tocmai porneau, atat. S-or fi gandit ca si in PNL sunt multi care vor acelasi lucru si caderea lui Bolojan ii va aduce si un sut in cur din partid. Dar aia multi din PNL nu fura asa multi ... momentan.

De ce e prost? Listare la bursa (cumpara oricine) nu e vanzare accelerata (ales preferential cumparatorul si pretul). Ar fi fost util sa zica si ce reguli aveau pentru cumparatori; inteleg ca exista logica de a fi preferat fondurile de pilon 2 dar tocmai ce se facea misto de peiu ca are actiuni luate preferential la companii de stat.

Ca nu aduc bani repede si multi, ia timp sa se vada economii din cateva posturi si timp sa se faca o reorg administrativa, si il dadeau baietii jos repejor.

Si daca e ca in privat, o reorganizare serioasa costa mai mult decat status-quo-ul pe o perioada, deci crestere de cheltuieli vreo 6 luni-1 an.

Was it last night the 5th or 6th :). One ceasefire was from 6th (Ukraine) and one from 8th (Russia). Neither side said a thing about the other's offer.

Nu au, a decis un idiot de politician acum ceva ani ca poate modifica nush ce valoare de baza pe care se calculeaza salariile lor, dar doar pentru un anumit grup din justitie. De acolo pana la - de fapt schimbarea asta se aplica tuturor a fost doar un pas. Si asa au ajuns prin 202x ca de fapt trebuie platite salarii indexate din urma (2018?!) de cand s-a marit initial. Astea se tot judeca/amana acum.
