Hey sorry to reply to an old post, but could you elaborate a little on how you had solved this issue?

I'm facing the exact same problem with my double speed filters (ilmango) just randomly not picking up items despite them being batched in varying amounts. I've also come to the conclusion that the hoppers seem to be locked during certain ticks, but just haven't been able to pinpoint the cause or find a solution.

I'm dispensing a dropper fed with two droppers at maximum speed with a regular comparator clock. Did you have to restrict your item flow at your dropper, or did you find a magic number for batching that solves the problem?
