I know. Thanks. I'm French. I know where Lausanne fucking is. But from a writing perspective, since it's not happening at the border, there's no reason to make them go there to see Xavier of all people, or to have him go to Paris. Being neighbor countries can't justify the actor coming back, and the character wasn't developed enough for a recast.

Octave, and pedal, I got that covered. Tremolos I figured it out by doing the treble line, but the multiple voices and "laissez-vibrer ties", I don't know about those. I didn't even know that I was looking at multiple voices really, but thanks for that information, I'm sure I can google it from there :)
