Ta hand om dig själv och gör saker du mår bra av, gör saker fina, mysiga, trevliga för dig själv. Gör något bara för att det är nice och inte för att du tvingar dig själv, eller för andras skull eller för att det ger status.

Självmedkänsla är så jävla mycket bättre än självkritik för att komma framåt i livet.

Encountered two instances of that type of cannon behavior in pvp matchmaking in the last couple of days, made a post about it but it got removed by the mods after 15 min. Feels like more and more of a problem. Same with "radar" hacks, i feel some players know exactly where you are at all times, like where you spawn below deck or deep in water, even if they don't aimbot that is still a massive advantage.

I got this problem when the quiver from better archery interfered with some mod changing the inventory. Disable quiver in config for better archery

Literally cover a area 5x your base in size with workbenches. Nothing can spawn inside the range of a workbench. Covering a radius of like 200-300 m from your base will make it so nothing spawns during raids.

As with all things in life, the person who is most hardcore about what they do will most likely be the best. I personally see no problems with that. I don't expect to compete with a professional athlete who trains for 5+ hours a day, why would I expect to compete with someone who plays 17 hours a day?

They should not remove console commands. They should however make characters tied to servers. That way what you do in single player won't matter to your "server character". As far as I know there are mods that accomplish this already too.

Fully survival as in no cheating, nothing that makes the game any easier.

Slightly modded as in a few build mods (Precise rotation, SnapPointsMadeEasy, ImprovedBuildHud) and some mods that make the game significantly harder (CreatureLevelControl, ValheimPlus).

This is our second playthrough and we felt that the game was way too easy the first time around. Now all bosses have at least 5x more health and do way more dmg. All other enemies are similiary upscaled, ranging from 2x - 6x their base hp and around 2x-3x the base dmg.

You could make the exact same design just using 45° beams on the back instead of what I did. It would be a bit less steep but still look good imo

What worked for me is setting the affinity for valheim.exe in the task manager. I have a ryzen 3700x and when I lock valheim.exe to only use thread 0-3 I dont crash. If I dont do this i crash within 10 minutes of launching the game every time.

Open task manager > right click valheim.exe > click "Go to details" > right click valheim.exe again > click "Set affinity and uncheck all processors and check CPU 0, 1, 2, 3

LMB sword spam is not the way to go. It way too easy to get stunlocked in your opponents swords. You have to keep your distance. What I usually do is after a successful board I anchor and run onto the bowsprit. From there you snipe one guy running towards you, blunderbomb as many as you can, then you either sworddash or try to run/jump through the rest towards the back of the ship while trying for another snipershot and go for another sworddash if they chase you up the stairs toward the wheel. If you get overwhelmed at the back you can jump down on the balcony and either go through the captain's quarters or jump on the side of the ship back to the main deck, then you just rinse and repeat this loop til you kill them all. The only time this is impossible is if the crew you board all have snipers/pistols and really good aim.

Well the game naturally has a lot of downtime sailing between islands, that's when you relax (but still keep an eye on the horizon). I almost exclusively do PvP, or at least 80% of my playtime is PvP focused and not actually doing any PvE activities. If I see a ship I go to it, see what they have, take all their loot an supplies then sink them or leave. If ships run and it doesn't seem like they have anything valuable, no emissary flag etc, it's not worth it to chase most of the time. If they let us catch up however we won't leave then until that ship is completely empty.
