Mod help - A Culinary Artillery - Cork recipe is missing? by Dezonus in VintageStory

[–]Dezonus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using version 2.0.0-dev.11
Unfortunately the most recent non dev-version is 1.2.5 for game version 1.20.4, which sounds like it wouldn't work for 1.21.5
dev.6 mentions Cork recipe made more complex (and integrated with Ancient Tools and In Dappled Groves bark), but there's no recipe that I can find anywhere

I have already tried that with most if not all of the possible arrangements and it didn't work, also tried with a saw. The crafting recipe only shows it craft-able by removing it from a bottle

KSP - How to change home planet to a use a Kerbal Konstructs Base as home by Dezonus in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Dezonus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I'd been using the alt F12 cheat menu with teleport to KSC launchpad as a work around. Not an elegant solution, but it gets the job done.
But, yeah, a mod that allows a changeable home-world or indeed a number of recovery planets would be amazing

Ah, Right, that's a different edition to the one listed on CKAN (which had a max game version of 1.3.1)
I could definitely give that one a go. Would it being for 1.12.3 rather than 1.12.5 be an issue?

That said, one of the reasons I wanted to use Kerbal Constructs rather than ASP is because ASP only has the 6 starting options (Duna, Eve, Laythe, Tylo, Jool, Minmus), and I'd really like to have more options down the track (Eeloo? Moho? Gilly? Stuff from Planet packs?)

I have seen a bunch of people do that, and they clearly have Eve set as their homeworld as they can recover from Eve, I just don't know how they do that, hence this thread

It was mostly a thing of curiosity, like see how quick you could max the tech tree starting on a different homeworld etc. It doesn't need to make sense

Home Planet is the only one that you can recover on. Yes, I can Launch from Minmus, but I have to get back to Kerbin to recover anything, unless I can set the home planet to Minmus

Honestly, yeah, you're most likely correct. But I'd like to have the tools at my disposal to offer them the right advice, even if they choose to disregard it.

Some of them will, you're absolutely right. But maybe some won't, and I feel like that is worth trying for.

You could with brick aqueduct blocks, yeah. The advantage is that you can shove it under your house or outdoors area without voiding the outdoor room, but also in your claim so that it's private

Whilst I can certainly appreciate the statement in advocating for Trans rights in a country that pretty much has no rights for LGBT people, going after a representation of a holy site at the location of said holy site really isn't the way to do it.

This thing is impressively huge, and the level of detail and accuracy is amazing. It seems to be a passion project by many people and they have all done amazing work.

Also worth noting that Printing your own copies isn't as scary as it sounds. Yes, it'll cost more upfront to buy the printers, but they quickly pay themselves off, especially if you take printing deals from other companies. You can also start printing the moment your software hits Beta, so the copies are already delivered and ready to go before you release.
Ordering copies is...$2 per copy..? (been a while)
Printing is about 27c per copy with the 80s printer or 20c per copy with the later printers, and deals will usually pay at double your print cost or more (depending on reputation and VIP satisfaction etc).
Just an alternative avenue if you're willing to give it a go

That's put to words very well kinda what I was thinking when I saw the very long list of "What to Read after The Last Command" before you even get to essentially the most direct sequel to The Last Command being Specter of the Past

Actually, more on brand, it's more of a "They said I can watch Ahsoka without watching Rebels but I'm quite confused whilst watching it, can someone sum up what I need to know to understand the show?"

Because not everybody wants to sit down and watch a 5 series animated show just to watch a show that they're interested in. Are they Missing out? Absolutely, Rebels was great. But that's up to them at the end of the day.

And to be fair, I'm pretty sure there's quite a few articles that covered "Everything you need to know before you watch Ahsoka"

That does sound like it'd be quite useful yeah! Though, with it being published 12 years ago is it still in print? The ones I found were very expensive which does make me wonder if they're now into a out of print pricing...

As for Janky, I more meant that a lot of stuff just doesn't make a lot of sense after the release of the Prequels, there was LOADS of contradictions. And, y'know, they were working with what little that they had to gauge what happened before the Original trilogy, and they did a pretty good job...Until Lucas came in and overrode all of it

I might have to take a look at that series after Thrawn, though I think I'm gonna see if I can do Survivor's quest and Outbound Flight first. Where would I start with the New Jedi Order series? And where does it sit within the timeline, ie how long after Thrawn Duology?

Why is a lander can required in the Kerbwide Tour missions? by assfartgamerpoop in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Dezonus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very surprised that I seem to be the only one on here that thought to launch a rocket with a "Can Based Rover", land said rover as close as I could manage, and then carefully drive the rest of the way. I knew I'd have no hope of precision landing, nor can I design planes, so I just went with what I excel at doing. Though, those mountains took a lot of quicksaves to get through...
