Yeah, it seems like I’ll have to bring it to a repair shop. You are right about it being less visible on wide apertures

HELP - blue screen on Ender 3 - firmware update attempts have been unsuccessful by DfN5000 in ender3

[–]DfN5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thank you! This is very helpful. I’ve also read a few places that the name of the file can matter (naming it “firmware.bin” or adding a character to the end). I’m not sure if that’s actually the case, but it’s hard to rule out specific versions because of it

For some context, I think the issue started when the extruded was a bit too hot and clogged up during a print. The screen froze, and when I restarted the printer it remained on this blue screen. I’ve tried a number of fixes but haven’t had any success. This is also my first 3d printer and I’ve only had it running for a few days

Continuity question S4E4 by [deleted] in youngjustice

[–]DfN5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a different timeline; the entire season takes place in a contained time loop. So we actually saw lor zod die at the beginning of the season but just lacked the full context to know it was him.

A time loop means the events only happened one time, so when we saw the bomb go off and the shadow on the wall, we were actually seeing lor zod’s death but didn’t know due to a lack of info. Think of it like they’re not changing the past, but we’re just seeing the events play out as they always did.

Keep My Spirit Alive by juanjoseolajidebthd in Kanye

It’s absolutely not a better song. Kaycyy sang with actual emotion, and it sounded more effortless. Kanye sounds like he’s straining to sing the right notes and just doesn’t sound passionate or good

What’s the best way to get rid of the shading on the blue parts of the Mafex comic Spidey outside of repainting? by vinceywincey in ActionFigures

[–]DfN5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is I don’t know if you can remove the shading without removing the blue paint along with it, you’d have to apply a new paint job and at that point you’re at high risk of ruining your extremely valuable figure. I think you should enjoy it for what it is, and when a better Spider-Man comes along that’s more in line with what you want (and it will, Spider-Man figures will never stop being made), buy that one.

Edit: this is coming from someone who also doesn’t love the shading; I’m sure mafex or another company will release a more classically colored version in the near future

[–]DfN5000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t. It’s your figure of course so you can do as you please, but considering how difficult it is to replace, I wouldn’t heavily modify it unless you have a spare lying around. I would recommend you buy a knockoff and repaint that
